So I had my first ever headline set at Skyline this past weekend, and I learned what it really means to be a DJ. Now, I'll never be a DJ like John Digweed, who can create this whole vortex of sound, and while all the craziness is going on, he's just standing at the center of the eye of the storm, eyes on his mixer, in complete control. How I DJ is completely different. I like to bring my passion for this music, I like to bring my enthusiasm for this music into the DJ booth. 

Because how I create a connection with the dancefloor, and that's what DJing to me is really all about, creating a connection with the dancefloor. How I do that is I hope the clubbers on the dancefloor can see a little bit of themselves in me. They can say, hey, just like this guy is enthusiastic and passionate about the music, I'm just as enthusiastic and passionate myself. If he can do it, I can do it. 

So in the words of Danny Tenaglia, just be yourself. As much as DJing is a skill set, it's also a mindset. You have it in you to go and achieve your dreams. Just go out and do it. Let's go.

If I had already found the right words, I would have written down what an incredible experience we had at the BALANCE CROATIA 2025 festival. For now, let me just say this: we were in the earthly paradise of progressive house.

It was a true honor for me – and one of the highlights of my DJ career – to play for such a wonderful international crowd. The captivating atmosphere of the Beach Stage and the energy of the people brought this set out of me.

A WORLD-CLASS TRANCE STORM TO DESCEND ON PRAGUE ON 14 APRIL 2012!

Prick your ears up! All fans of electronic dance music, and of trance music in particular, are advised to make a big red mark in their agendas under 14 April 2012. For this is the day when Prague will be swept by a hurricane that is without precedent in the history of Czech big-room dance music parties! The very theme of the event – A Dream Come True – suggests that visitors will be transported to the realm of dreams, while the names on the line-up guarantee that visitors will find themselves on the verge of trance.

The TRANCEFUSION promoters are presenting a brand new concept of this keenly received event that strives to align it with the world’s top trance events. The entire Průmyslový Palace (left and right wings, central hall, as well as vast foyer) with an area totalling 12,000 square metres will be home to a huge festival of trance music. Lovers of this music style are sure not to be disappointed. There will be not one, but three stages erected throughout the Palace. During the ten-hour dance marathon, more than 20 trance DJs will present the best in the world’s trance music, ten of whom will be playing in the Czech Republic for the first time! TRANCEFUSION is yet again raising the bars.

The event will come complete with countless bars, snack bars and merchandise kiosks, spacious panoramic balconies in the central hall, outside terraces for smokers and a smokers’ lounge in the foyer, a sufficient capacity of bathrooms and cloakrooms, relax points, gaming zones, extensive VIP areas, and many other facilities for TRANCEFUSION fans coming from all over the world.

The organisers pledge not to oversell the maximum capacity of the Průmyslový Palace and to make sure that the premises are not overcrowded. As a consequence, they recommend that everyone wishing to attend should buy their tickets well ahead of time because the Palace’s capacity is not unlimited.

Zpozorněte, datum 14. 4. 2012 by si měli všichni fanoušci elektronické taneční hudby, především pak hudebního žánru trance, zapsat červeným písmem do svých diářů.
