Ces improvisateurs évoluent sur un territoire peuplé d'éclats cuivrés et de de nuées orageuses, de transistors mutins et de boucles psychédéliques. L'expressivité pneumatique des deux pavillons, Mahler et Souchal, fusionne fertilement avec la poésie électro-acoustique de Foussat. Jean-Luc Cappozzo est l’invité régulier de ces aventures. Le premier concert en quartet est enregistré sur le disque Alternative Oblique, Jean-Marc Foussat et les amis, label improvising beings.

Pavillon Rouge+Jean-Luc Cappozzo à la Java

During the last few years a new and different kind of music started to emerge in my compositions.
Fragments of minimalistic and obscure sounds were progressively breaking through the sonically dense scores and I found myself falling in love with the emptiness and fragility of this sparse music.

Embryo is my first work that digs deeper into this bare space, committing to the silence between the notes and the abstraction of the melodies.

It is my own pilgrimage where the sound becomes still and nothing and everything unite.
