DJ and producer K Alexi is one of Chicago's true heroes and cited by many as a pioneer the city's sound. At a young age of 12 K was already moving in the right circles befriending worldwide legends like Frankie Knuckles and Ron Hardy whilst frequenting the famous Warehouse.

K's upbringing in Chicago in the 70's and 80's meant he was exposed to a range of genres and different styles of music including Stevie Wonder Prince Curtis Mayfield and David Huff - these same names would prove to be the roots of influence. K's first pressing 'Essence of a Dream' is still regarded a classic today.

A tally of successful hit records remixing and collaborating with other artists resulted in his talents being sought by a diverse range of artists like The Pet Shop Boys ,Dj Deep ,Derrick May Angel Abi, D- ROLAND ,Paul Johnson ,Dj Gregory ,Kenny Dope ,Mr Lee (who produces for R Kelly) Gene Hunt ,ROLANDO, Maurice Joshua ,MARSHALL JEFFERSON ,Marc Romboy ,Mark Grant ,Larry Heard & Robert Owens, TjenTjen, Dave Angel Felix Da Housecat and Will Smith.Ect

Joe Smooth is one of the pioneers of the style of music known today as house music. He is a self-taught musician who from the age of 12 has been creating music that is inspiring to all that his sound has touched. In 1985 he joined the DJ International family and quickly became a central force behind everything written or produced from the visionary label. He has worked with such artists as Frankie Knuckles, Marshal Jefferson, A Guy Called Gerald, Lil Louis, D'Bora, Tyree Cooper, Fast Eddie, Fingers Inc., The Art Of Noise, Sterling Void, The Pet Shop Boys, Brian Mc knight, Atlantic Starr, The Style Council, New Order, Steve Hurley... and The List Goes On.
At the age of 16, Joe Smooth began having house parties and djing throughout Chicago's underground music scene. At 18, he opened his first night club called east Hollywood Mannequins. In 1983, Joe began dj’ing at the famous Smart Bar nightclub and created an atmosphere and mystique that still lives today. In 1985, the Limelight contracted Joe for their Chicago nightclub as musical coordinator. In 1987, he also started working for the soulful Charlie club nightclub as head DJ/musical coordinator.
In 1988, with musical production work building and traveling abroad Joe Smooth left the club scene for a short break to put his concentration fully into his productions. Joe Smooth is the writer of one of the biggest and most covered house anthems of all time "Promised Land", followed by "They Want To Be Free" recorded for CNN as the soundtrack for Nelson Mendela's release. Joe Smooth has written and released over 150 songs worldwide and can be credited with the involvement of over 10,000,000 record sales. In 1990, Joe Smooth saw a need for a serious underground house club in Chicago and opened the Warehouse nightclub, named in tribute to the legendary Warehouse nightclub of the early eighties. 1995 Joe Smooth looking for new horizons ventured to Rome to work on a label idea with producer Claudio Donato “active bass music” distributed by the now dissolved flying records network. In response to flying's failing and lack of a strong distribution network Joe Smooth returned to Chicago and began searching out new talents to develop and begin his new venture “Obelisk Productions Multimedia”. Thru the nineties til present day   Joe Smooth has done extensive work with Slang Music Group and Nu Soul. Joe's work at Slang and Nu Soul would include projects featuring Whitney Houston, Omarion, Beyonce, Joe, Donnell Jones, Destiny's Child, Sisqo, Vivian Green, Amerie, R Kelly, Janet Jackson, Kanye West, Max-a-Million, Kelly Price, Saleena Johnson, Back Street Boys, Wyclef, Prince and Madonna to name a few.

One Love Records was founded by the late legendary DJ/Producer Paul Johnson and Dutch DJ/Producer Alex Pi after 20 plus years of friendship. The pair had ONE common LOVE, music, which led to the formation of this cutting edge record label. One Love Record’s mission is to truly bring people together all over the world by being a catalyst for the music. Chicago born Paul Johnson, most known for his hit, “Get Get Down” and for an accomplished career spanning over thirty years, left the earth in 2021.  Johnson boasted a vast catalog of music featured on several iconic record labels.  In the years prior to his death, he decided it was time to add label owner to his distinctions yet again and provide a home for his own music.   As a true musical tastemaker, Paul Johnson’s influence and curation are apparent upon hearing tracks released on One Love Records.  Even post mortem, Paul Johnson will remain an integral part of the One Love Records family.  
 
For Alex Pi aka Rulex, it all begins in the studio. Musically notorious for his intensity both in the studio and behind the decks, his passion and talent are undeniable.  As a sought after record label owner, who has professionally partnered with the likes of Gene Farris and DJ Pierre, it was only natural that Alex Pi saw the vision of One Love Records to fruition.  Pi's keen ear and industry insight is what makes this pair unstoppable as label owners.  One Love Records, founded in friendship and fueled by a divine commitment honoring Paul Johnson’s legacy strives to give its artists a platform to display their music to the world because “it dont stop”.

Marko Nastic, is globally recognised by many as one of the Top South Eastern Europe artist as producer & DJ performer. 
Marko and friends accomplished and built one of the most vibrant club scenes in Balkan, the one that inspired writers of Mixmag, The Face, DJ and NME to write about. 
In carrier long almost 20 years Marko has done more than 200 releases including rmx and co productions. He is most famous for his high end 3 decks sets which gave him opportunity to tour  globe many times and to be resident of Exit festival. Stands behind project Easy Tiger known as party series and recently as a record label.
