Kostas Daikos is the person behind the Greek project E-Mov.
His interest in electronic music production started during his student years which he spent mostly in the UK. With the experience he already had from many years of musical studies and as a performing guitar player in various bands, he started composing various styles from lounge to drum’n’bass, over ambient to psychedelic. In 2003 E-Mov was formed, aiming mostly in creating a blend of psychedelic and progressive music, largely influenced by ethnic and tribal elements. Guitars, male and female vocals and percussions were ingeniously incorporated. Since 2013 E-Mov joined Belgian label Dacru Records.

Dacru Records is a Belgian psytrance label. The label boosts a strong selection of artists, from major names with a 20 year career under the belt to younger promising talents. The rosters includes names like U-Recken, Talamasca, DigiCult, Spirit Architect, Tropical Bleyage, Bitkit, E-Mov, Electric Universe, Aquila, Overdrive, A-Tech, Transient Disorder and more. The aim is to release timeless music with a strong emphasis on the psychedelic and melodic.
Besides being a record label Dacru has also been making a name as event promoter with over 80 events since 2001, that’s a whole of a lot of experience that goes into organizing quality productions. The events have taken place all over Belgium, from The Netherlands to Germany and even in exotic places as Thailand and include big and small indoor events, open air festivals, bus trips, 11 day pop up clubs and more. Some of the party lines include Organic Dreams, Tribal Roots, After Sunrise and Nova’s Incident open air.

3 years after the second part of my Jungle Spirit Mix series I am really happy to finally present you the third chapter.

2:22:02 hours of what I define as Psychedelic Trance featuring a high octane selection of my preferred trip advisors. It was once again inspired by underground gatherings in the Malaysian jungle, Chinese meadows and the floating villages and bamboo forests of Thailand.

Alexsoph - Perfect Happiness (Dj Mix) [BMSS Records 2020]

Alexsoph is Alex Walter, (1983) DJ and Artist from Southern Germany. In 2000, while at his first immersive experience at a Swiss Psychedelic Party, Alexsoph discovered amongst the intense vibe an affinity for Psytrance music and culture. In 2002, he began playing professionally with a style characterized by pumping groove laden Psytrance that is always future forward.

With an innate ability to read the dance floor Alexsoph is able to throw down bangers suitable for day or night. Over almost two decades he has expanded his presence into Asia, playing at various underground festivals in Malaysia and Thailand. Around Europe he is known at festivals from Hungary to Italy and of course, Switzerland where it all began. 

ABS, is a side project he is involved in with Boom Shankar. As ABS they play back to back sets in playful harmony, a venture which has extended to two compilation CDs on BMSS Records.
