a rough ass draft of a song i wrote in like 20 minutes a few months ago

But sometimes it’s really hard

It scares me when I’m not with you, it
Makes me feel like I can’t live without you
I have done it before I can do it again
But I don’t want to
You’re always in my head

Sometimes I don’t know if I can trust you cause
You have hurt me before
I’ll always remember who I was back then
How heartbroken I was after what you said

Some songs don’t sound the same to me anymore
You ruined them and my memories
They remind me of how in love we were
When we kissed in the dark and my face burned

I know that we’re both so different now
And I needed that time to grow on my own
Sometimes I wonder if it’s just nostalgia
That keeps us together at all

You are always my world
I know that you know that
No matter where we are I hope you know that
But sometimes I don’t think I can forgive you
Though I try really hard

I won’t forget listening to Kimya
And Adam on repeat, missing you
All those nights I didn’t sleep, thinking of her
And what she could’ve meant to you

Sometimes I think I should’ve just fucked him
Like I told myself I would
I just want you to hurt like me
I always forget we’re on the same team

Sometimes I look at you and can’t believe 
That it’s really you
Sometimes you look like a stranger to me
Your face is blurry in my memory

I hope in a few years I’ll be over it
