Perplexity Music is overjoyed to finally unveil our highly anticipated sublabel, Perplexity Pulse. This project has been in the works, ready to take you on a different journey of music from what you are expecting but don't fear the unknown! Our signature melodic Progressive House is just a small showcase of the numerous artist that exceed in talent & the mission of Perplexity Pulse is to show a whole new side of artists that are bursting with that same energy & drive, only in a different sound. The focus of this label is more on the genres of Deep House, Indie Dance/Nu Disco and all the other untouched gems that make the crowd move. It is a pleasure to introduce the first release of the label by Poland based Diskotronique, with an immense 3 track EP.

Engage all your senses for the groove infused first track of the EP, 'B Good 2 Me' which should give you a taste as to what Pulse is all about. With nothing but vintage 80's vibes lighting up the dance floor with the smooth, funky bass riffs & house style piano stabs, it'll be impossible to sit still with this playing. The sampling of the 1983 classic 'Just Be Good To Me' by The SOS Band adds in that vintage twist with the modernized Nu Disco flow, resulting in this explosion of fresh, exciting & dance floor friendly elements. The overwhelming feeling of the way the crisp & powerful percussions mix in with the deep bass lines go so well that it creates a contagious combination of pleasant auras & deep vibes. The modified title vocals complements the track as it combines the suave textures & new styles together gracefully. 

Next up we have 'Elevate' & as the title suggests, simply remaining sat down in one place will be a hard feat as the intoxicating sounds of the striking 90's House style gets a makeover; but retains that monumental  touch that gave popularity to this genre. Lovely piano stabs are flowing on the journey with the light & jazzy percussions that consist of light hi hats, soft kicks & steady shakers. If that wasn’t enough, the vocals burst through, further enhancing that old school vibe that is addictive, funky & well placed. It's almost like you've been thrown back to the glorious, care free era where discovery of this ever growing genre continued to progress into the tantalizing genre it has become now.

Last but not least, we have sensually enticing 'Body Rock', another dipping back into the times of strong, raw & upbeat sounds that overtook the scene. Steady setting the pace with the firm & powerful kicks with the addition of the 80's synth sound, this one will definitely have anyone up & on the floor. The hypnotic & luscious vocals turn up the heat in a classy appeal, where you naturally fall into a rhythm of moving with the delicious funky atmosphere. Just think, long nights that start with a blazing sunset sinking beneath the horizon, the night calling you for a steamy, smooth & smoldering dance with nothing but the rhythm; the bass line engulfing you & controlling every movement. What a way to end an incredible EP that boasts talent, sophistication & skill in this every growing combination of new age genres & fusing it with the old to create works of art like this.

If this EP hit more than a few chords with you, then you are in for a treat as Perplexity Pulse will continue to deliver sensational material like this. The kind of music that makes you want to put the world aside and just live for the good times.
