My entry in Hugo Moroux/Ben Levin song challenge for December. This month was to make a pop song heavy.

I started by removing the vocal with AI and transcribing it with a synth to get the notes and rhythm. This makes reharmonization much easier, although this time I spent most of the song in either the original chord or it's relative minor. ALTHOUGH I did move everything up a half step into C major so I wouldn't so incredibly confused reading music with that many sharps. After that I  took it measure by measure making each one into something I thought was cool, with the overall goal of turning it into a mid-tempo cyberpunk darksynth banger... this didn't work, I had to push the tempo back up or it was too long. I even had to cut a chorus off, original song was actually kind of long and I don't have the attention span for it lol
