This weeks episode, we welcome back our talented DJ from Johannesburg. Her sets various from Techno to Deep House and Melodic House & Techno. She has played at various clubs such as Truth, Jynx, The Living Room just to name a few. 

After a long time I approached her again to do another episode, she was amped! Actually she was the 1st guest mix on the show and I am thankful to have you back on  ;)

DEKOTA is a Johannesburg based DJ. She came into the seen in 2012 with her Trance alias Madelin May playing alongside local Truth residence and a few International DJ's like Alex M.O.R.P.H and Dennis Sheperd.
2016 she desired a deeper sound and found herself in love with Techno and Deep Tech. The key to everything is her own unique expression, her transmission of real and often raw feeling. Not constrained by genre when DJing, for her good music is good music, there is no separation.

LEE ALEXANDROS XYLARAS, known as ALEXXØ is a South African based DJ and Music Producer from Johannesburg. He started his musical journey from an early age with music and studied sound engineering in college, however he started DJing at the age of 15. He learnt and got inspired by DJ Tiesto back in 2004 watching & listening to his sets on DVDs & CDs, and slowly progressed to learn the ART of DJing.

In 2008 when he was in college, he discovered the underground dance music scene and was interested by the sounds and liking of Sasha & John Digweed, Steve Lawler, Carl Cox, Dubfire, Richie Hawtin and many more artists.

His a lot driven with a passion for electronic music, and amongst his favourite artists like Tale Of Us, Mind Against, Colyn, Stephan Jolk just to name a few… and hopefully one day to be signed with Afterlife.

Alexxo's Dj sets currently consists of a perfect blend between Melodic House & Techno and Techno music in his live sets, but he also enjoys the electronic, ambient, indie, jazzy & classical music when his relaxed.

In 2011, he produced a track called "The Difference" with DSoul Mass, featuring Lee Xylaras, and its released with Logo's Recordings. You can view this track on Beatport and Apple Music to name a few. In 2012 on Beatport “The Difference” was on the EVERY SOUL NEEDS AN ALBUM CHART & LOGOS TOP 10 by Vince Watson and Samuel Radinski.

Through the years he has gathered experience with music production & DJing, he has DJ 'd at various clubs, namely Stones in Fourways, Fooba in Benoni, as well as NAHYSOSA social.

In 2018 he released a Podcast series on SoundCloud called 'Alexxo Presents: Press Play' which featured 3 mixes by him and then decided to invite guest Dj's onto his show such as, DEKOTA, LEEP, SHAOLIN FUNK, BONGANI ZULU, DEEP SOULS, MACGYVER, NATASA, ABBY NUROCK, MELODICA., NIC LETCHER, TANYA VEE(CT), COY, JUAN GRANADOS, TREEHOUSE GROOVE, MEEK & Kayla Saikaly (USA), Zuzana HakI (CZ), Greta (GR)
