Human Movement, the project of Edward McDonald has entered new heights over the past year. The artistic focus has evolved from club focussed house tracks to delicately curated and well thought out dance music spanning from a range of influences in UK Garage, breakbeat and techno. Recent support from DJ Boring, DJ Seinfeld and Brame & Hamo has solidified Human Movement's new solo chapter as a key name in Australian underground dance music. Between releases he's provided us with his latest B Side, 'Addicted' a breaky, UK garage inspired breakbeat number, with influences ranging from jazz to dub.

Aberdonian Producer & DJ, living in Glasgow 

His electronic music education begun with visiting clubs like Snafu & Tunnels in Aberdeen, with Tunnels providing his first gig, which has led to appearances across Scotland at clubs such Cab Vol, the Caves and the Liquid Rooms and a residency with Edinburgh promoter First Edition. He has also hosted radio on Vandelay Radio, and is moving on to local FM radio in Glasgow with Grapevine, a monthly show devoted to promoting fresh Scottish dance tracks and the artists who make them. 

His music has been featured on BBC Introducing in Scotland, earning the tag ‘sound of the summer’, Ltd Wht Lbl, LR4991, Funky Beat Addiction TV, Duskline FM, Listen Closely, and PMIX, and his first release on vinyl came in 2020 on the PMIX VA Compilation alongside artists such as Meg Ward, Ros T and Junior Simba.

He has previously supported artists such as OR;LA,  Courtesy, Route 8, Nathan Micay, Hammer, Project Pablo, Pearson Sound and Helena Hauff in Edinburgh
