I was gonna quit music this weekend. From day 1 it was clear i was an accidental pop star. I loved the idea of it, i mean who doesn't? Still the wear of staying polished with how im presented and how my music was presented took a huge toll on me mentally. I started to hate music, the thing i loved the most! When i would listen to immaculate recordings with my friends their praise over the quality of the art as opposed to the art itself made me feel really sad for music as a medium in general. My music only feels exciting for me if its in the moment, and thats what this album is. I made this album this past weekend stuck in my room with just a 4 track feeling hopeless about my love for music. Im not gonna lie, this album is hard to listen to, but it was even harder for me to share. I love pop music, i love outsider music, and i love lofi music, this is my way of combining all 3. Anyway I played, wrote, produced, and mixed everything and big thanks to Kieran Ferris for Mastering an album with an hours notice! its free! Enjoy! Love Yall! Still more 2 come!!!!!!!

Everybody was waiting for it! 

Sweet Chords is back for its fourth instalment, more deep and wise than ever.

This time we’ve put together a collection of chords fed by our modular system as the centrepiece, but also coexisting with our beloved Rhodes keyboard, various synths and custom vinyl textures and soundscapes.

This library is divided in three main categories: Raw Modular, EPxModularxSynth and Re-SamplingxModular. The first one, is a set of chords sampled using exclusively our modules without any additional external processing; the second one, is an array of Electric Piano chords processed through our modular system, adding complementary synths (hardware and VST's) and on top of that some modular chords; and last but not least, we have a batch of resampled music from friends and custom vinyl pressings processed through our modules, giving to it a singular granular texture. Pure bliss!

Rugged textures blending with saw-tooth and square waves, saturating an analog filter’s input with a smooth envelope. Ambient chords using sine waves together with abstract textures and background foley and delays, creating hypnotic rhythms. Wowed Electric pianos (that sweet effect that old vinyl players make when they get subtly out of tune and tempo) nurturing a reverb with it’s feedback set to the infinite, creating a space in your mind that evokes the future but smells like the past.

A total of 1500+ different WAV chords arranged in 69 different construction kits (as many modular patches that were put together in the making). These construction kits have also been put together as Groups for Maschine and Instruments for Ableton with our custom macro programming. Also, due to popular demand, we’ve analysed all chords through a super-intelligent-algorithm (which also makes mistakes) and labeled them with their corresponding keys, for ease of use.

Ana Quiroga is a music producer, sound designer and dj. She explores sound through an experimental approach. Understanding sound as material to create new ways to listen, Ana works principally with field recordings from the environment, processing the sound into new textures and melodies. 

NWRMNTC is her new solo project, which was presented in London at the Somerset House Studios launch party. This new project is focus on cinematic scenes and is a new way to tell stories through sound and music.

Ana is also half of the female electronic music duo LCC. Their second LP, Bastet, on Editions Mego was released in June. The album was presented LIVE at Sónar Festival Barcelona, accompanied by the visual artist Pedro Maia and also the recent Atonal Festival, Berlin.
