We've been planning an exciting way to revamp and re-introduce DJ mixes to the label. The newly launched series will showcase the label legends, but also invite guest artists from around the globe to feature too. You'll be able to hear mixes across both Sondcloud and our YouTube channel, depending on the music they feature, and we already have an incredible schedule of talent planned to bring more music to your ears. 

Launching the series with us is the talented DJ Latam who's been digging into the label's catalogue for some time, even dropping tunes of ours in the mighty lands of Ozora Festival. Let's welcome this legend and dive into a special hour and half journey with a heap of his favorite selections from the UTR catalogue. About the artist;
Romanian psychedelic trance DJ Latam first played music at a party in 2004 in unexpected and unplanned circumstances, going with the flow in a synchronistic situation. It was a Eureka moment which gave him a clearer sense of purpose and a new direction in life. After some years of practice and learning, encouraged by things going constantly up, he decided to give up any other business and fully commit to music as a way of living. Having a curious personality, he explored through the multitude sub-genres of electronica, for a while mixing in parallel psy, goa, progressive, techno, electro or house, in various forms. 

At present he is focusing on the groovy hypnotic side of psychedelic trance, with a versatile approach that can vary depending on the party profile, audience, location and hour, having the ability to chameleonically adapt and build bridges between different styles and tempos within the 130 to 150 BPM range. Sometimes you can hear him playing ambient and downtempo in an eclectic chill fashion at the alternative stages.

He has performed around the world at major festivals such as Ozora, Exit, Hadra, Untold, Sziget, as well as smaller underground gatherings, numerous club parties, private events, etc., in countries like Germany, France, England, Portugal, Netherlands, Austria, Hungary, Italy, Panama, Denmark, Belgium, Serbia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Norway, Malta, Ukraine, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Republic of Moldova, Crimea, Romania.

This set was something else. Performed deep in the wild under the stars, surrounded by a small tribe that felt more like family. Inspired by the raw energy of Feral, most emotional and electrifying journey I’ve shared on a dancefloor.
A moment where time melted, bodies moved as one, and something ancient stirred.

Built on hypnotic grooves and tribal percussion, this set is also worth experiencing in solitude, in a quiet, comfortable space where the details can speak for themselves.

First time going into that sound properly, Massive thanks to the crowd who was there the whole way, locked in, present, feeding the energy back.
