"Mi Cordillera" es un disco de música que fusiona el cumbiatón con la rica tradición musical andina. Consta de siete canciones y un intro, cada una representando uno de los siete países atravesados por la majestuosa cordillera de los Andes: Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Ecuador, Perú, Colombia y Venezuela. Estos países, unidos por la cordillera, comparten una conexión profunda y una hermandad que se refleja en la música.

Cada canción lleva el nombre de uno de estos países, sumergiendo al oyente en un viaje musical que celebra la diversidad y la unión de estas naciones. Los sonidos vibrantes y enérgicos nos transportan a un estado de felicidad y esperanza, conectando con la esencia misma de la cultura andina y el cumbiatón.

El álbum incorpora una variedad de instrumentos andinos, como el charanguín, flautas y el palo de agua, que añaden una autenticidad y profundidad emocional a la música. Además, se destacan los elementos típicos del cumbiatón, como el guiro y las acapelas, que dan ritmo y vitalidad a cada pista.

En resumen, "Mi Cordillera" es mucho más que un álbum de música; es un homenaje a la belleza y la diversidad de los países andinos, una celebración de su cultura compartida y una invitación a disfrutar de sonidos que nos llenan de alegría y nos recuerdan la importancia de la unión y la solidaridad entre los pueblos.

"Mi Cordillera" is an album that fuses cumbiatón with the rich musical tradition of the Andes. It consists of seven songs and an intro, each representing one of the seven countries traversed by the majestic Andes mountain range: Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, and Venezuela. These countries, united by the mountain range, share a deep connection and a brotherhood that is reflected in the music.

Each song is named after one of these countries, immersing the listener in a musical journey that celebrates the diversity and unity of these nations. The vibrant and energetic sounds transport us to a state of happiness and hope, connecting with the very essence of Andean culture and cumbiatón.

The album incorporates a variety of Andean instruments, such as the charanguín, flutes, and the rain stick, which add authenticity and emotional depth to the music. Additionally, the typical elements of cumbiatón, like the guiro and fast drums, provide rhythm and vitality to each track.

"Mi Cordillera" is much more than a music album; it is a tribute to the beauty and diversity of the Andean countries, a celebration of their shared culture, and an invitation to enjoy sounds that fill us with joy and remind us of the importance of unity and solidarity among people.

Juan Tuaty, también conocido como 2AT, explora en esta obra los ritmos del folclore andino de su región, pero filtrados a través de su emocionalidad y una profunda reflexión existencial. Por eso, Kartucho no solo recurre a estructuras tradicionales, sino que incorpora texturas que evocan lo gótico, el witch house, el trip hop y paisajes sonoros oscuros, interpolados con ritmos en quebrados .

El título Kartucho es una palabra cargada de significados en Bogotá. Puede aludir a la flor blanca, símbolo de pureza presente tanto en matrimonios como en velorios, pero también remite a la desaparecida Calle del Cartucho, en el barrio Santa Inés, asociada históricamente
con la marginalidad y el tráfico de drogas. En lo musical, Kartucho fusiona la energía del punk con ritmos tradicionales como el bambuco y el pasillo, integrando además elementos
del house y el bass. Estos géneros se entrelazan con las tripletas rítmicas propias de la región andina y boyacense, dando como resultado un álbum tan visceral como introspectivo.
2AT, Colombian punk artist, presents Kartucho, his second album.


Juan Tuaty, also known as 2AT, delves into the traditional folk rhythms of his region, but channels them through a deeply emotional and existential lens. As a result, Kartucho blends folkloric elements with textures that evoke gothic atmospheres, witch house, trip hop, and dark soundscapes, all interwoven with 6/8 rhythms. 

The title Kartucho carries layered meanings in Bogotá. It can refer to the white flower that symbolizes purity—commonly used in both weddings and funerals—but also to the now-extinct “Calle del Cartucho” in the Santa Inés neighborhood, once known for extreme poverty and drug trafficking Musically, Kartucho merges punk energy with traditional rhythms like bambuco and pasillo, while also incorporating influences from house and bass. These genres intersect with the triplet-based rhythms typical of the Andean and Boyacá regions, resulting in an album that is both raw and introspective.

✿ SWINE PREMIERE ✿ We have the honor of premiering the track "Juguito Resucitador" by @entranas. His new album "Los Cueros Al Sol" will be out on the newly formed Quito-based label @six_eight_music led by Entrañas, Ene Ese, and Zunfo.

∎ Recognized as one of the most prolific emerging producers of Latin American electronic music, Entrañas presents his second album Los Cueros Al Sol, a project that redefines his sound through a deeper connection with tradition, instrumentation, and his personal narrative.

∎ This album represents his most organic work to date, incorporating recorded instruments and showcasing Entrañas himself on guitar throughout several tracks, along with drums and guitars recorded by guest musicians. The album offers an exploration of local rhythms, reimagined through his unique production style, characterized by carefully crafted sound design and rhythms full of distortion and energy that dissolve between textures and atmospheres. 

∎ Alongside these traditions and sounds, aggressive and enveloping basses and synths emerge, accentuating the hybrid nature of his work. True to its title, Los Cueros Al Sol, an expression that evokes the idea of laying bare the truth, of revealing oneself raw and without artifice, the project draws on everyday life in Quito, the hometown of Entrañas, with song titles reminiscent of traditional street foods. This intimate resource anchors the music in the land and memory, interweaving its local identity in every detail.
