Latest mix in our exclusive mix series comes from brand new artist - ALGIA!!

Algia is a dj and producer from Hungary.
Until 2016, he was just a simple party goer, but then he won a mix contest and received the opportunity to play at a party called "FLTH" which is a Dark Techno party series based in Budapest at club "Supersonic" where he became a resident.

After two years of DJing he started to learn how to produce his own music and soon got his first release. He is still learning and trying to improve his sound, which will be familiar, if you ever be around a smelter.

Heavy Plate Mill is a monthly podcast by Pinch Point Records showcasing the label's taste and releases in the industrial techno sub-genre.

Let's start the year with something new! Mörg aka Christos Retsinis is a DJ/producer from Greece who sent us a handful of demo tracks a few weeks ago and it turned out he's not just a talented producer with a very distinctive sound in the genre, but also a popular DJ in his country since 2012.
So we asked him to record an exclusive set for our podcast to announce him, because pretty soon we are going to release his new EP with 3 original tracks and a bonus which will remain secret until everything is ready to roll out.

Algia is predominantly known for his Dark Techno style. He has performed sets all over his home country of Hungary, and has spent the last few years perfecting this genre. 

He has a second passion however, the dark side of psychedelic music, and wouldnt miss an opportunity to play some Dark Prog at a party if the opportunity was there. 

He has now decided to produce his own style of Dark Prog, influenced by the music he has heard at various parties, using the production techniques he has learned in the past few years. 

Algia produces dark progressive trance with swampy dark soundscapes, deep low basslines and heavy driving beats. In 2021 he joined Erebos Records, and Another Psyde records in the same year.
