"Beats + Horns = Horny Beats!"

The algorhythmik originated from the german HipHop scene. As beat producer of "Ryoma" he worked with a bunch of musicians from Hamburg's Jazz scene. In 2008 he co-produced the Debut Album of Pilotfilm ("Built from Sessions"), a Jazz & HipHop formation from Hamburg.In the subsequent years he worked with the trumpet player Thomas Burhorn on "The Burhorn - Beauty of the Beast", a project between Jazz and Trip Hop.

After producing a couple of remixes, for example for the Funk collective "Diazpora", he founded the Jazz-Funk project "Smith and Johnson" together with the saxophon player Kimo Eiserbeck. In 2013 they published "One for Click - One for Boom", a record between Jazz, Fusion, Funk and HipHop, featuring a reinterpretation of a Guilty Simpson track.
His latest Project is called QUAGGA and on December 18 2015 he will release a remix Album of "The Burhorn - Beauty of the Beast".
