A FEW BAD MEN is the new project from Simon Paul Roy. Simon was a founding member and songwriter of the influential Australian psychedelic power pop group Bell Jar, working with Marty Willson-Piper (The Church) and Ed Kuepper, (The Saints, Laughing Clowns). Following the break up of Bell Jar, and a series of personal challenges, Simon stepped away from public performing and recording.

Simon has lived the life of a gypsy, moving from place to place and project to project. Having lived in California, Florida, Australia, France and Switzerland, travel is his constant.
 
With A FEW BAD MEN, Simon returns with a vengeance. He has developed a sound that is raw and intense, brooding and dark, drawing upon a compendium of influences including Tom Waits, Johnny Cash, Leonard Cohen and Tom Petty.
 
At a time when we are facing a crisis of identity, he has decided to dig deep into the modern psyche; with lyrics touching broken relationships, lost identity and escape, Simon is describing people and a society at a loss to find meaning.
 
My Kind of Girl is the first single from the upcoming album, Haunted Man.
