Liquid Bloom, founded by producer Amani Friend (Desert Dwellers | Desert Trax), is a visionary world-electronic project that bridges ancient traditions with modern production to create immersive, transformative sound journeys. Emerging in the late ’90s from explorations in organic trance for healing, it has grown into a global vessel for ceremony, dance, and inner exploration, merging shamanic instrumentation, ethereal vocals, and sacred world traditions with cutting-edge electronics. 

Collaborating with artists like Poranguí, Mose, Deya Dova, Ixchel Prisma, and Savej, Liquid Bloom has appeared at international festivals such as Ozora, Boom, Envision, and Rainbow Serpent, while also serving as a soundtrack for breathwork, psychedelic therapy, cacao ceremonies, and ecstatic dance gatherings. infektedheadz crusty dub punk for the kontaminated people 
Marc from the Infekted Headz and I go way back to the ‘90s and hardcore front-line protests and the infamous London squat-party scene.

We reconnected via the internet many years later and Marc started sending some fantastic tunes for The Glorious Rant Show and his tracks nestled neatly amidst fresh hip-hop/dub and trad/fusion coming out of South East Asia.

In summary the first albums worth of tunes that were compiled and then featured on both the radio show and then released on Thang Long Records:

One of the first tracks played was Refugee Dub and an intro featuring Ennio Morricano’s classic chimes from ‘??? once upon a time in the west ??, it  was irresistible – I had to play it on the show. 
The bass line in Don Dub also fitted in nicely, with well paced bass n drums and  full of floaty vocal samples. The real Pièce de résistance on the album is 87 Dub – when we came to releasing it and deciding on track order I encouraged the piece to go right up front. Despite the initial groove being in the very familiar drum and bass patterns, this track has a unique warmth, exquisite timing and high-rising vibration, and not so in your face, as a lot of D+B. We love it, and has to be one of our most played tracks of the year.
The album finishes with a tune to ensure none of us forget our punk routes and the Infekted Headz nod towards the Dead Kennedys with their own version of Police Truck.

The second album we worked on was outtakes (or tRackes *** youll have to decide on this bit!) from cxxxxx Camden studio xxxx and a collection of anti-war songs – it’s called FuckWar’24
TLR were more than keen to feature such greats as Adrian Sherwood from the legendary On-U Sound , his daughter – Denise Sherwood performs a haunting solo affected by the horrors of Gaza:

The album opens with the hefty vocals of Jenny Bellestar (of Bellestar fame) – Living Hell
My Mother was a Refugee has that raggy London squat sound, hefty steppers accompanied by the almighty toasting vocals of MC Juggernaut. War in a Babylon follows in a similar vain, however it is much more jump-up.

As we are a label based in Vietnam we spent a long time thinking about how to split any money that may be received from FuckWar ‘24. Although a horrendous amount of choice for those in desperate need in 2024, we opted for something that was continuous and poignant to Vietnam.

Radical Dance Faction (R.D.F) were founded by Chris Bowsher in Hungerford in 1986, and were originally known as MILITARY SURPLUS. R.D.F's music combines punk, dub, and ska and the're known for being the legends of the UK free festival scene from back in the day. In the early 1990's the band made a few tours of Germany, one tour was as the support act to the REBEL MC (A.K.A. CONGO NATTY), they also supported ZIGGY MARLEY at one point and appeared at the huge Summerjam Festival in July 1993. Chris Bowsher has been the lead singer from the early days of MILITARY SURPLUS. Steve Swann, (R.I.P. The Dub Warrior) also one of R.D.F's original line-up, co-founded the Revolutionary Dub Warriors and was a member of the reformed, dub, ska band Dub The Earth.
Phil & Ozzy left R.D.F. in 1995, and together with Dan & John (A.O.S.3), went on to form P.A.I.N.
Linda and Graham Spey went on to form the band DF118.
Mark McCarthey joined The Wonder Stuff in 2004.
Murph joined The Rhythmites.
