Following a statement Anjunadeep debut with 2016's 'Over Clouds' EP, Germany's Koelle makes a welcome return to the label with four track EP 'Another Land'. 

First up title track and emotive deep cut 'Another Land'; a familiar moment from the label's recent iTunes dance #1 album 'Anjunadeep 08', given a special Deep 08 edit by Anjuna stalwart Jody Wisternoff and label boss James Grant; also featuring as the closing track on the package. Maintaining the momentum, another Deep 08 favourite, textured percussive cut 'Last Words'. Lastly, 'The Void', a quirky melodic groover layering delicate keys and vocal chants alongside a chugging bassline groove.

Richy Ahmed - Technique (D'julz Remix)

As we found in our review of the first Saktu release, Saktu Records is @heisenbergspb‘s sub-label and the newborn vinyl-only project of Aleksander Tsyrin, also known as @sashakaktus. Sasha told us the label's philosophy and intentions were to release 'analog, deep and raw' records on 180gr wax.

The second release is a four-track EP titled 'Untitled Space' with two originals from Sasha himself and two remixes, one from Italian duo Jamahr and one from an old friend, Russian artist Anrilov.

A-side 'Untitled Space' has plenty going for it. Rolling drums dominate alongside a heavy blend of acid but it's the remix from Italian duo Jamahr that is the star of this EP. Fresh off the back of their release on What NxT Records earlier this year, the emerging Italians deliver a fantastic rework that is a much more stripped back house track than the original. The rolling drums and acid vibes remain this time combining with warm synths to create a smooth yet groovy 4x4 dancefloor cut.

B-side 'Ruki V Boki' is slower, spacier and a little bit out there which is absolutely a good thing. It has a recurring whistle throughout, alongside 90s minimal kicks and clangs - there's even a slight touch of breakbeat about it as it tamely drops. The Anrilov remix is totally different from the original. The Russian producer has added more drums and taken away the spacy elements, adding a creepier, voodoo approach.

Crosstown Rebels' Serge Devant graces rising Swiss label RADIANT with his infectious dancefloor-focused style via a driving remix of Fabio Aurea's new track  'Yini'. 

The Fabio Aurea original is pure Balearic deep groove bliss, glimmering with cosmic textures and captivating rhythm. Now Serge Devant flips the ballad into a rolling percussively-laced ballad, featuring warm bass, fluttering synths and a sensual vocal hook. With the sunny season on the horizon, the house cut is primed to make an impact on the dancefloor.

'Yini', which also features remixes by Armonica and Frederick Stone, is set for release March 15.
