Alias 1 is a product of personal and emotional expression by solo artist Aidan Somers. Although the main sound of this project leans heavily towards house and techno, the artist makes use of a diversity of genres to convey his message.

 A trademark of Alias 1 is the direct use of audial inspiration from his personal life which oftentimes act as the basis of inspiration for compositions. 
Alias 1 has its main focus directed on Live sets and has had releases on Ponza Records, Profound Sound Records and O V U N Q V E.
