Run It Over

Born and raised in Baltimore, I attended every event I could manage no matter where it was from about 1994 on just to hear drum & bass on LOUD systems. I started spinning in 1998 & I've since played events from NYC to Miami to Houston and everywhere in between. Keith Keck and I hosted "Lost In Bass" radio on WHFC in Maryland in 2000 providing the local jungle/dnb DJs with a weekly radio spot. Guests included : Skypex, Spinscott, Ill Selekta Riser, Cleric, Idiom, Roc E Wrek, Gangsta Fun, & Suzette. Focusing mainly on drum-n-bass & hip-hop, we were eventually shut down by the station manager for "innappropriate content". Also in 2000, myself along with DJ Rev-E (Gangsta Fun) & Prime8 (Skypex) started Soul Science to organize dnb events in the Baltimore area. Due to unforseen circumstances, we all branched off into our own things and Drum Theory & Dioxide were born. Drum Theory is an all drum-n-bass promotion company and digital label ran with co-founder Skypex, and Dioxide is the two of us combined. I grew up around Southampton/Portsmouth on a diet of Madness, hip-hop, metal and dnb. I've been DJing since 2002 and producing since 2010. I've lived in London since 2005. I've played various venues round London, Bristol, Southampton & Portsmouth including Hidden, Rhythm Factory, Basement 45, Timbuk2, Blue Mountain and The Registry and I've held down radio shows on Rude FM, Flex FM, Origin FM and Intense Radio. AutomAte Deep will be launched in early 2013 and has already picked up Radio 1 airplay from Nihal plus support from Raiden, EBK, Morphy, The Untouchables, Mental Forces, J Robinson, Ortokore, Philth, Stunna, Marukomu, Dexta & Mauoq (Diffrent Music).

The Tech label showcases a variety of gritty drum & bass music, from amen tracks and heavy-steppers to neuro and hardcore styles. We like it grimy with a slight attitude problem and an infectious groove. Supporters include DJ Hype, Bailey, Kenny Ken, Dose, Raiden, Nu:Tone, EBK, June Miller, Inside Info, Gremlinz, Stranjah, Chris Su, Zero-T, Nyx, Amoss, NC-17, Fade, The Risky (Drum & Bass Arena), Billion (Fathom Audio), Arclight, John Rolodex, Phil Hustle, Hyroglifics, Neve, Concrete, Bad Education, Cursa, AbleDanger and more.
