Geoffrey began his musical career as a chorister at Southwell Minster. During his time in the choir he enjoyed touring with them to Italy, Sweden and Paris. 
Subsequently he attended Chetham’s School of Music in Manchester, where he continued his Organ Studies with Christopher Stokes. In January 2007, Geoffrey was appointed as Junior Organ Scholar at Manchester Cathedral, a post which he held for eighteen months.
In September 2008, he became the Organ Scholar at Chester Cathedral, where he regularly played for services, and the weekly Organ Recitals, as well as accompanying the Cathedral Nave Choir.    
In September 2009, Geoffrey commenced his studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow. At the same time he was appointed Assistant Organist at St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral in Glasgow, where he played regularly for the choir and was involved in broadcasts, recordings and many performances while he was there.
In September 2012, he returned to Chester Cathedral as Assistant Organist, and then to Manchester Cathedral as Sub-Organist in 2015

Leading Chorister at Chester Cathedral Girls Choir, I play flute and (obviously) sing, hoping to carry on with classical music and specifically singing after I leave school!

Media composer. My music has featured in the Emmy Award-winning series UNITED SHADES OF AMERICA (CNN), the documentary SUBNORMAL: A BRITISH SCANDAL (BBC One) – which is executive produced by Steve McQueen and featured on The Guardian's "Best TV of 2021 (so far)" list – and an international advertising campaign for internet brand HONEY. My work is regularly heard on national primetime TV and recent series include PANORAMA (BBC One), MASTERCHEF (BBC One), and DISPATCHES (Channel 4). My music has been recorded in venues including Abbey Road and Maida Vale Studios.

Manchester Chamber Choir is a dynamic choir with a passion for singing, a great social life, and an enviable reputation.

Alice is a soprano based in Manchester who is available for weddings, funerals, concerts and other events.
She has over 18 years' experience in cathedral choral music.

The Octavo Consort was originally formed in September 2010 (as just 'Octavo') by its Director, Tom Coxhead. It was made up of senior members from Abbey Gate College's Chapel Choir as well as other local young singers. Between 2010 and 2012, Octavo performed alongside the College's other music ensembles in several concerts but also visited churches across Cheshire to sing evensong and perform concerts on their own.

In 2012, when most members were leaving school for university, the group reformed and continued to sing a schedule of cathedral services and concerts outside of term-time. The choir recorded two CDs ('My Soul, There is a Country' and 'In the Bleak Midwinter') to help raise funds. Octavo has also worked with local composers, John Hosking and Michael Williams, often performing their works. The ensemble's membership has now expanded beyond the confines of Cheshire and draws on many young singers from across the country. 

The Octavo Consort has a large and varied repertoire but with some focus on Renaissance music and works from the 20th Century onwards.
