A high-spirited artist and relentless producer, Mathys reinvents the syncopation through a mental and rude 4-decks techno, embodying the intense, concentrated and visceral, inviting for emancipation. 

From his multiple EP's released on MORD, Orbe, HAYES and Mutual Rytm recently, his music is fiery and frenetic. This spatial dimension is essential to him as a musician, where tension and reflection are combined in the space he endlessly recreates through his sets.

Born in a misty harbour in the north of France, John Doe has five vital organs. Together, they give birth to a cold music, swinging from quiet to electric rage. Sometimes rough, sometimes fluffy, the guitars mixed them up and tear each other apart. The rythm is dry, hypnotic, supported by a purring and tortuous bass. The organ is moaning and the synthetizor reverberate above the blizzard, the all thing, topped with a reverberated voice and some delicate melodies. John Doe plays with kinds having no other desire but to make  a noisy, nagging and cosmic music.

Né sur les quais brumeux d’un port du Nord de la France, John Doe se compose de cinq organes vitaux. Ensemble, ils donnent naissance à une musique froide, oscillant entre calme et fureur électrique. Tantôt rugueuses, tantôt cotonneuses, les guitares s’entremêlent et se déchirent. Le rythme se fait sec, hypnotique, supportant une basse ronronnante et tortueuse. La plainte d’orgues et de synthés résonne au dessus du blizzard, surmonté d’une voix réverbérée aux mélodies fragiles. John Doe se joue des genres n’ayant pour seule envie que de pratiquer une musique cosmique, bruyante et lancinante.
