Leone Jadis, c’est la rencontre de Camille El Bacha, jeune compositeur issu de la nouvelle génération de pianistes classiques et Benjamin Rippert, compositeur, producteur, architecte électronique et également pianiste, longtemps complice de Laurent Garnier.

Le duo se produiera pour la premiere fois sur scène le 24 juillet au Festival 1001 Notes en première partie de Thylacine (plus d’info) et sortira son premier album en octobre 2021.

L’album a été composé et enregistré dans une petite colline du Luberon en 20 jours.  Leur musique est tantôt contemplative, tantôt tumultueuse, parfois même chaotique : les harmonies se heurtent aux rythmiques jusqu’à l’implosion, pour finalement s’accorder et faire la paix.

Leone Jadis, c’est un univers cinématographique où les machines nous évoquent les sons impalpables des rêves, un monde atypique où le piano nous rappelle qu’il est intemporel.
