Dani is a purveyor of soulful and sublime progressive grooves. Her sound is an explosion of hypnotic rhythms and percussive tribal instruments, which are easy on the ears and demanding of the feet! 

She’s been lighting up dance floors for the past 14 years with her uplifting and unique take on the progressive sound. Her journey began as a desire to play a more upbeat eclectic chillout selection, but she was soon drawn into the progressive world and mixing a blend of progressive beats became her new passion.

She’s manoeuvered her way around some of the most exciting clubs and parties in the capital including Tribal Village, Elixir of Life and Fox&Badge and has enjoyed playing in the great outdoors at events such as Noisily, Chrysalid, Sunrise, Waveform and Eden festivals in the UK as well as Psy Boutique Festival in Turkey. A major highlight was opening the main stage at the HillTop Festival in Goa, India - a dream come true! She was also a resident DJ for OmLiquid, which ran for many years at the InSpiral Lounge in Camden.

DJ Edycted's love for music was deeply influential in shaping his DJing passion. Growing up, he and his friends bonded over the music of legendary icons like New Order, Radiohead and Depeche Mode. These bands didn't just provide a soundtrack to his youth; they also inspired his musical sensibilities. Their innovative sounds, emotional depth, and artistic expressions became the foundation upon which DJ Edycted built his own style.

As he transitioned from a bedroom DJ to a notable figure in Kuala Lumpur's music scene, his sets often echoed the eclectic and emotive qualities of these bands. Even though he never considered himself a traditional musician, the essence of these iconic bands permeated his approach to DJing. This allowed him to blend nostalgic influences with the pulsating energy of Malaysia's vibrant rave and clubbing culture, particularly techno. 

Having mastered both digital and vinyl formats, DJ Edycted has been a resident DJ at Under9 KL under the SERIOUS SOCIETY label since 2014. Over the years, he has evolved his sound, traversing genres like indie-dance, electro, and tech house, ultimately discovering a profound connection with techno. This exploration not only shaped his musical identity but also led to numerous opportunities, enabling him to showcase his exceptional DJing skills and unique mixing technique.

Renowned for his diverse selection of techno, DJ Edycted has left an indelible mark on the local scene, delivering unforgettable performances in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. His dedication to constantly refining his craft has solidified his reputation, ensuring that whenever DJ Edycted takes the stage, the audience can expect an electrifying sonic experience.
