The debut artist album of eleven.five, the Virginia native who we affectionately know as Eric Fox, has truly been a lifetime in the making. We, at Silk Music, have had the privilege of co-piloting the last five years of eleven.five's musical journey, as his memorable lead themes and innovative grooves have found their way into the hands of Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren, and various other esteemed international purveyors of house, progressive, and trance. From the deep, noir-tinged "Echo" to the euphoric, celestially inspired "Explanation," eleven.five's classics seem to have drawn from myriad influences and subgenres of electronic music.

His triumphant "When People Become Numbers" artist album continues to showcase his immense musical creativity and versatility. Thumping, yet emotive club-friendly cuts are punctuated by more pensive, deep-flavored compositions, including several cinematic and timeless chillout pieces. An exceedingly talented cast of electronic music veterans co-author a few chapters of eleven.five's aural narrative, namely: Arielle Maren, LTN, Dan Sieg, Sundrowner, and Incognito Soul.

Progressive & trance composer Blugazer and production & vocals duo The Cynic Project reunite on "Waves On The Ocean," the sophomore effort from the extraordinarily gifted American veterans. Originally featured on this year's "Only Silk 04" compilation, their latest collaboration is a sensual progressive masterpiece. In the early going, Blugazer's deep and evocative after-hours groove transports the listener to a tranquil sea at dusk. It is soon met by The Cynic Project's main vocal motif - "watching out for you" - which gently and soulfully emerges, as if mystically arising from the sea itself. The patient crescendo of the opening minutes dissolves into a soothing and romantic breakdown. The word "lush" hardly does justice to the mellifluous and therapeutic drop to follow.

Greek virtuoso Terry Da Libra delivers a higher-octane, but no less euphoric take on Blugazer & The Cynic Project's stunning single. A trance-influenced groove establishes the peak-hour tone of his interpretation in the early going. Yet, as veteran fans would expect from Terry, the arrangement completely opens up in the main breakdown, revealing a gorgeous symphonic soundscape, nestled behind The Cynic Project's ethereal vocals. A modern trance drop in the final minutes allows listeners to revel in the melodic bliss that is "Waves On The Ocean."
