The Shadow People is a Gothic/Rock/Electronica band from Wellington. All the members originally came from Hamilton. The main member at the moment is Ben Tregilgas and the other members are Camron Duff, Syam Hodgson and anyone else who helps. Ben, Camron and Syam were also in two other bands called The Kohlbrin and Children Of The Boogen Baagen. The Kohlbrin was a three-peice band with Ben on Lead Vocals and Lead Guitar, Camron on Rythm Guitar and Syam on drums. Unfortunately they never ended up playing live shows. Children Of The Boogen Baagen was a side project of the Kohlbrin done on the computer.

All the members in The Shadow People practice Krsna Consciousness (they're 'Hare Krsnas'). They started showing interest in Krsna Consciousness while they were making their second album as 
Children Of The Boogen Baagen and a little while after finishing the album they became full time practitioners. Ben and Camron are now living in Wellington.
