昔、９０年代後半に、私の２歳年下のいとこの”マー君”が亡くなってしまった時に産まれた歌です。
お通夜、お葬式を過ごす中で、叔母（マー君のお母さん）が明るくふるまい、ニコニコしながら「悲しすぎて気が狂っちゃうよ、ほんとに」と話していたこと、が、歌になりました。
叔母さんが見る夢に、マー君がお月様みたいな笑顔で登場しますように、と、歌っています。
