ago is a music project by robin wörn and manuel minniti from stuttgart. the band is complemented by guest musicians during live performances. after releasing their debut single "sun" on vinyl in may 2018, they played a tour in israel with the local group D.R.Y.

along with lead vocalist dmitry polykov of D.R.Y. they released the "blessed" ep on a 7" in october 2019 under the same-titled project.

their debut album "chroma" (produced by ralv milberg) will be released in 2021. the contrasts between the warmth of the middle-east and the coldness of central europe are complemented by pop compositions, vocals and driving rhythms. even so, the songs never sound like off-the-shelf mainstream pop.
the compositions combine modern electronic music like electronica, new wave or synth pop with post rock, shoegaze and a slight kraut rock-impact.

Thomas Bieniek (he/him) produced music for art-installations, movies, fashion-shows, websites and is currently looking for new exciting projects.

He's also a DJ in the realm of experimental & deconstructed club/techno and ambient/electronic.

BIO:
Thomas Bieniek startet as a experimental musician. In his soundcollages he took moods of Ambient to Noise to quote them in a conceptual frame. In so doing, he used fieldrecordings of his sourroundings.
