Ohotina Maria – a guitarist with faultless technique and expressive, attractive execution.  
She started practicing music when she was 5. At first she attended a piano class, and at the age of 12 she began to study classical guitar playing. Maria was born in Vologda(Russia) to a family of a military personnel. She finished Children's music school No. 1 in Ryazan(Russia) conducted by Zaytsev Anatoly as her primary music education.
After graduation Maria mastered her skill in Musical school of G. A. Pirogovs at Gitman Ksenia class.
Her desire for pracricing music and remarkable persistence in achieving her goals showed in earliest childhood. Already at school teachers paid attention to Maria and advised her to develop the talent by all means.
Having successfully graduated from musical school, Maria entered in 2006 to the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music (a class of professor Frauchi Alexander) where her bright musical talent finally found a facet.

Training and exchange of experience in the Italian Accademia Musicale Chigiana Siena (a class of professor Oscar Ghiglia) was the following stage in career.

Maria always actively participates in competitions and festivals in Russia and abroad (Moscow, Ryazan, Tver, Belgorod, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Cherepovets, Kolomna, Cheboksary, Kaluga, Oklahoma (USA), Siena (Italy). Many times Maria was entitled as the Winner.

At the same time the guitarist started playing with such ensembles as: "Quattro-mandolino" under the direction of professor Kruglov Vyacheslav, ensemble of ancient music "Da camera a da chiesa", (conducted by Felitsiant Victor). Subsequently (Later?) she will be a part of (join to?)  "a Russian Guitar Quartet", "Studio for New Music Ensemble" under the leadership of Vladimir Tarnopolsky, repeatedly play with the Orchestra of the Chuvash State Philharmonic hall and the Moscow State Academic Orchestra under control of Pavel Kogan.
2014 and 2015 introduced in the guitarist's career invaluable experience of working with famous jazz master Alexey Kuznetsov (jazz guitar), and also training at the guitar Institute of Seledonio Romero (the USA Oklahoma) in a class of professor Pepe Romero.
Now Maria is actively performing a new solo program "the Guitar of Spain" which includes bright works of famous guitar classics (J. Turina, I. Albeniz, F. Tarrega, M. de Falia and others).The nearest concerts will be arranged in autumn 2015.
The disk of Maria Ohotina which is also titled "the Guitar of Spain" is being prepared for release.
