For our 6th episode of Expressions, we welcome Bay Area Music producer duo Subtle Mind.

Subtle Mind took their first international stage in Pula, Croatia for Outlook Festival 2014. Subsequently, the duo has continued to push its sound beyond their home base in the San Francisco Bay Area. Subtle Mind’s semi-comprehensive catalog has earned Mixmag’s ‘Tune Of The Month’ on three separate occasions, as well as international DJ support on BBC Radio, Beats 1, Boiler Room, Worldwide FM, Rinse FM and such.

This mix series focuses on emotional, feel good music that depletes the stresses of life.

We're excited to premier the track "Khatam" off the Boston based duo Tahabdra's new EP titled "Hedron." This 90 bpm 4 on the floor psychedelic rhythmic stomper explores many different soundscapes tuned to their unique tuning system using the biologically beneficial frequency 528Hz along with the golden ratio and Fibonacci sequence to provide a positive effect on the body & striving to ease tension through the use of the numerical roots of the natural world. 

The Tahabdra duo consists of drummer/electronic musician Josh Weinberg and producer/DJ Wiggz Caro who met while attending Berklee College of Music in Boston. The combo provides a natural integration of electronic elements with with the soothing flow of live percussion.
