I wrote this song about how it feels getting over the loss of someone who is important in your  life. It's almost as if their entire being is haunting you and embodies all of your senses. I was  really captivated with the moving melody of the phrase "Why don't you leave me alone?" and  wanted to create this wash of vocals that embody the message of the song with a sense of  longing.
