Gihan professionally known as SPIKE is a DJ artist and an event organizer who is in the industry for more than 17 years. SPIKE is one of the most renowned DJ artists in Colombo nightlife.

Spike started his DJ career in 2005. SPIKE is flair for genres such as Progressive, Progressive House, Melodic House, Deep & Dark Progressive. SPIKE played at many leading night clubs and hotels in Sri Lanka. Apart from indoor events he performed at many massive outdoor events in Sri Lanka.

In 2012 SPIKE joined Swedish Trading Audio Visual as a Pioneer DJ. And in 2014 he worked as the resident DJ at Kingsbury Colombo. SPIKE worked with many international DJ artists around the world.

After years of working as a DJ artist, SPIKE started his own event management company called “SP PRODUCTION” in 2016 and he organized many events such as Downfall, Dark Phase, Dark Phase Return of the Kingdom, Neutron, etc.

SPIKE is going to make his next big move in his career by starting producing his own music as a DJ PRODUCER. Ya’ll be able to listen to his music in near future.

Ruiz Sierra had an extensive 2016 - 17 international touring schedule, playing at clubs and underground techno gatherings in the UK, Costa Rica, Taiwan, India, Sri Lanka, Bahrain, Netherlands, Lithuania, Germany, Italy, Malta and France. Where he played with Stefano Noferini, Marco Bailey, Industrialyzer, Tom Hades, Alex Di Stefano, Andre Winter and many more.

As a DJ, he plays a new style of tech-house with atmospheric sounds that combines together energetic Techno with elements of House.
As a recognised producer - and label founder - he has released tracks on Deeperfect, IAMT, Pornographic Recordings, Audio Elite, Black Swan, Phunk Traxx and has been listed on the Beatport Top100 charts several times since he started off.

In 2013 he established Egothermia Records with a vision of releasing quality with Alberto Ruiz, Dani Sbert, Kohra, Peppelino, Subjects and many others.. He stands out with excellent support from Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Luciano, Sam Paganini, Maceo Plex, Cristian Valera, Stefano Noferini, Paco Osuna, Spartaque, Groovebox, D-Unity, Anthony Pappa, MiniCoolBoyz, Alex Mine, Matt Minimal, Gaga, NHB, Macromism and a community of recognized artists.
