Giovanni Limongelli, also known as LIMO, is a veteran of Italian underground scene active since late Nineties in between Italy and Europe. Since his youth, he has been moved from various facets of electronic, ambient and techno music. He absorbed its pureness, discovering and facing the club experience, inciting himself to expand his studio and record collection, spontaneously becoming one of the main flags representing his nation within the electronic music branch.

Initially he begins djing along Emilia Romagna coast together with Sandro Russo and Kriss, estabilishing Undercut project, while at a later stage he went back to his motherland Brindisi. Limo is a solid performer with high familiarity in playing vinyls and using analog gears: his productions, dj sets and live performances transmit passion and attention to the user physical and sonorus engagement. Limo’s artistic attitude, translate into insistent grooves and caressing textures and led him to collaborate with relevant figures of the scene like Mike Dehnert, Alan Fitzpatrick, Patrick Skoog, Arnaud Le Texier, and also proposing his sound in cities like London, Berlin, Paris, Copenaghen, Amsterdam, Barcellona and many more.

The main project we can identify Limongelli with is the event series and electronic music label Transition LAB, started in 2008 when Apulia, Limo’s region, didn’t experience such underground nights yet: the project layed the foundations with the intent of being the main pole for house and techno culture, conveyed in parties and a vinyl label. Blawan, The Analogue Cops, Deadbeat, Agaric, Markus Suckut, Roman Lindau, Truncate, Inland and other excellent producers could collaborate with Transition LAB, nowadays a certainty in terms of music quality and event atmosphere. Apart from Transition LAB, Limo main musical activities include a new label ‘Coffee Pot’ founded in 2013 together with Guido Nemola plus performing constantly within Fachwerk Records european showcases, which features dates around Europe.

Disconine (Compost/Circle Music) began his dj career in 1997 at Club Estação da Luz situated in the city of Aveiro in Portugal where he was one the resident DJs.
He played all over the country of Portugal and in the year of 2011 he has his first release on Compost Recods with the Johnwaynes.
Soon he is expecting his new release with Johnwaynes on Circle Music

is an italian dj and producer best known for his strong GROOVE & BEAT since 1996. His music slightly touched several genres within FUNK, NUJAZZ, HOUSE, SPERIMENTAL ELECTRONIC, AMBIENT. 
Both as resident - along 20 years in many italian clubs - and host (Sonar Festival, Greenwood, ISF, Lotarox, 20HZ) he played and spreads his music all around Europe. 
From 2011 to 2017 opened / closed and inflamed dance floors with highly regarded artist just like TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB (Kitsune) ETIENNE DE CRECY, DARREN PRICE (Underworld), , KONSTANTIN SIBOLD (Innervisions), JENNIFER CARDINI (Kompakt), PHIL WEEKS (Robsoul), MARKUS FIX (Cocoon) & ME (Keinemusik) IAN POOLEY (Innervisions).

With his music - including some prestigious remixes by Darren Price (from legendary band Underworld), Sam Pauli, Just Her, Musumeci - GROOVE SQUARED reached international charts several times, to name a few in the last 3 years:

-EP The Rounder /Trapez Ltd, Top 20 Tech House 
-EP The Ground / Gravity Groove Top10 Electronics - Top 20 Deep House - Top 10 Club in Vinyl Chart.

You have to see him as Band or Dj, to really appreciate the full and overwhelming experience and to feel every drop of energy coming from his performance.
 

Lumberjacks in Hell has been founded in 2010. Intimate Friends followed in 2013. For some people the difference or the need for distinction between these two is quite evident but to give you an idea. Lumberjacks is always 100% for the dance floor, inspired by the music from Chicago and Detroit which is not only reflected in the Artists we release. Intimate Friends is a headier affair. Soul, Hip Hop and House are all fair game. If you check the releases next to each other both labels have a distinct sound. And maybe a certain BPM range. This isn't saying that some of the music couldn't have appeared on either label but somehow it all makes sense to me. The Johnwaynes journey started in 2005. The Portuguese duo, that is strongly connected to electronic music, is made of a diverse blend of styles, a mixture between acid house, full-on orchestra, disco funk, boogie. 
After a package of releases on labels like Brique Rouge, Bloop Recordings, Johnwaynes found their way to Compost Black Label. Massive EP ́s like „Muzzle“ feat Hubert Tubbs (Black Label 32), „The Seaside EP“ (Black Label 38) or „Libertango” (Black Label 47) opened doors to further releases on labels like Japanese Mule Musiq, Endless Flight, Groovement or Optimus Discos. Collaborations with lovely Siri Svegler, Yannah, Stee Downes and Lady Bird, helped the Portuguese duo to enrich their journeys of “colors, textures and sensations”. When they play, whether in live or live/dj, they translate everything that’s in their souls, heads and veins, into a vibrant, harmonious and coherent way. Their uplifting sets are a universe of possibilities with constantly exceeding style barriers and an assured catching energy.
