After facing a challenging period due to an ear disorder, I refused to let go of my passion for music. This new DJ set is a reflection of my journey—capturing both the happiness and darkness I experienced over the past year. Resonance: Light & Shadow

Ali’s love for electronic music began at an early age. As a child, he grew up listing to electronic bands and producers such as Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk and Jean-Michel Jarre – all favorites of his father, who was a member of an electronic rock band in his younger days.
 
In 90s, Ali’s passion for electronic music grew deeper and his taste broadened as he became more exposed to different genres. His major influencers of the decade were alike of Enigma, Massive Attack, Robert Miles, Underworld and Plastikman. Discovering his passion and talent for deejaying, he self-thought himself and started playing in parties and clubs since early 2000s, both in his hometown of Tehran and Dubai.
 
Now, a resident of Canada, his taste for music has become entwined with the beauty of Vancouver and his sets are reflection of the melodic and celestial vibes found in nature.
