I literally wrote this in a couple of days. It was the point when I was just starting to play with free Spitfire Labs plugins. Being probably the most finished piece of mine so far, it was inspired by a first scene of the play "Khaos" - I read it through and immediately opened my "existentialism and absurdism" track that already contained the piano melody at the end (which clearly contrasts the first part) and added Soft Piano, Frozen Strings, Brutalizer plugins to create this hopeless yet dynamic atmosphere of the piece. The title is influenced by my philosophical endeavors at the time when I was delving into the doctrines and subtle differences of nihilism, existentialism, and absurdism. 

For a happy ending, I would add that the piece ended up being put by me into the High School Drama Production (for which I worked as a Composer and Musical Co-Director), altogether with Rebirth. They two heavily influenced the perception of the play by the audience as they would pop up throughout the whole play, being a motif for key characters of the production.

Apart from being included into the play, I simply love it for its rich sound, dynamic rhythm and overall mood. Join me in this joy and have a listen to the track.

Existentialism And Absurdism

I made this track as part of an exercise for GEMS Film scoring course in July 2025 for Garry Schymann. I used a recording of a Rhythmicon (invented by Leon Theremin), a TC Helicon Talk box (I recorded my voice), a Roli Seaboard 2 with some preset sounds from Ableton Live 12 Suite. The music is designed to loop in a video game in a tutorial level where you a learning to control a robot that will shoot and destroy other robots.
