ஓ༻ Shedcat delivers a sensual, genre-blurring sound that dances between tribal rhythms, euphoric energy and textured grooves. She is known for crafting emotionally rich moments on the dancefloor with a captivating depth. 


Shedcat, aka Georgia, grew up in Glasgow to then travel across South America and Australia, where she began DJing. Australia provided her with an array of opportunities to listen, learn and play. Part of this included close-knit workshops with the likes of Eris Drew, Octo Octa & CC:DISCO; intimate gigs with Berghain resident Boris and teaching beginner DJ classes to youths in the outback.
After her first club gig, she also gained experience across a variety of genres through bar gigs, radio shows, house parties and an almighty bush doof. 


Since returning to Glasgow last year, she has wasted no time in establishing herself in the Glasgow scene. Having recently played to a sold out Berkeley Suite as part of Femme DM, featuring on Radio Buena Vida, playing at The Flying Duck and Stereo, and with multiple sets at La Cheetah, Shedcat is not one to be missed༺ஓ

313 connection is a glasgow club night and mix series rooted in the musical connection between detroit and glasgow. founded by dj’s undercurrent and kairogen, the party draws from the foundations of the detroit sound - techno, electro, and house, highlighting both the city’s legacy and its influence on underground scenes worldwide. 

glasgow has long embraced and reshaped these sounds in its own way, and 313 connection continues that tradition at la cheetah club. built on a diy ethos and a community of dedicated selectors, it’s about keeping the spirit of the roots of techno alive whilst remaining forward-thinking and loose in its approach to genre and sound.

as a producer, her releases on soma, space textures, orbitando, and systolic have explored the deeper, atmospheric side of techno and ambient, balancing intricate sound design with hypnotic rhythms.

this same approach extends into dub series, a project originally founded with long-standing late collaborator niamh jobson and now co-hosted with danny greenman (dj greenman), focusing on dub techno and its influence across other sub-genres.

in 2024, she launched 313 connection at la cheetah alongside glasgow selector undercurrent, a night dedicated to the deep connection between detroit and glasgow’s underground. though new, it has already cemented itself as a key fixture in the city’s scene.

beyond djing, kairogen is deeply embedded in the scene, freelancing across lighting, sound, label artwork, and bar residencies, all while keeping a strong connection to the wider club community.

a resident for both epika, the all-femme edinburgh-based collective, and london’s sisu crew, she moves between a wide spectrum of sounds—whether it’s the melodic side of techno, electro, house, or ambient.

with a passion for playing with emotions and creating a sense of togetherness through sound, she crafts sets that feel immersive, intuitive, and deeply connected to the dancefloor.
