One year after purchasing a pair of Technics turntables, Brent Beaudette landed his first professional gig at the infamous Martini Lounge in Hollywood. Los Angeles was buzzing with the sound of UK clubs and underground music had captured the moment.

Shortly after, Brent went to work for Maverick Records, brainchild of Madonna. Assisting in the marketing and new media efforts for artists such as: The Prodigy, Paul Oakenfold, Alanis Morisssette, and Deftones, he gained valuable insight into the music business.

After building his reputation as a solo act, Brent joined with fellow artists Sean Smith and David Heil. Together they formed DJ collective '@maxcheddar', a tongue-in-cheek nod to the commercialization of DJ culture.

As a member of Max Cheddar, Brent has performed at world-class nightspots from San Francisco to Tokyo. After gaining attention from guest appearances on Sirius XM Radio, he has been featured alongside some of the world’s most famous DJs.  

Taking cues from varied musical styles, his influences range from a wide spectrum of house to techno, funk, hip-hop, and alternative pop. Based out of Los Angeles, Brent has established himself as a fixture within the Southern California DJ community and beyond.
