"Figure Out Yourself" is about how liberating it can be to go to therapy because of how it helps you understand why you are how you are. It’s also an attempt to de-stigmatize the topic by talking about it more openly. I find it strange that we’re okay as a society about talking about going to the dentist, for example, but not about going to see a therapist. Somehow it seems like going to therapy can be seen as a weakness, when in fact I think it should be seen as quite the opposite. You’re showing willingness to work on and understand yourself, which I think is quite awesome honestly!

The Future

So happy to share Ripples, the third and final track from the session at Farel Saal Biel. The piece emerged while rehearsing Solace and Adrift, just a few days before the recording. It was still a bit rough around the edges, but with about half an hour time left on the recording day, we decided to record two takes and see how it turns out. Here is the result!
