Amr Fahmy ..... the godfather of Ultras Ahlawy group which established on 13\4\2007 by a group of Egyptian youth supporting AL-AHLY SC. the group disbanded Forcefully on 16\5\2018 by Egyptian military oppressive regime.

Son of Mustapha Mourad Fahmy Ex Confederation of African football General Secretary (1982-2010) Ex FIFA Director of Competitions  (2010-2015), died on  at the age of 36. Fahmy’s death came after a severe battle with cancer.
Fahmy, whose father and grandfather assumed the same role, was appointed as CAF's secretary general in November 2017, replacing Moroccan Hicham El Amrani.

However, he was fired less than two years into the job after he accused CAF's corrupt president Ahmad Ahmad of bribes and misuse of hundreds of thousands of dollars. He was replaced by Moroccan Mouad Hajji.

The revelations caused shockwaves in the continent and prompted world governing body FIFA to take over the running of African football for six months last year, dispatching its own general secretary Fatma Samoura to effectively be in charge of CAF.

In June 2019, Ahmad Ahmad was also briefly detained by French authorities in Paris as part of a corruption probe.

Before becoming the secretary general, Fahmy also worked with the CAF Competitions Division between 2007 and 2015 and was the director of the Africa Cup Nations, the continent's flagship tournament.

He intended to run for president in CAF's next elections in 2021.

Additionally, Fahmy holds a FIFA Master’s in Management, Law and Humanities of Sport, and has a great experience from working in the CAF.
Fahmy worked as the general coordinator for the 2013 Youth World Cup held in Turkey, general director for the National African Cup of Nations tournaments from 2011 to 2014.

Moreover, Fahmy served as the general manager for the following African Cup of Nations tournaments: 2013 and 2015.

Following these tournaments, Fahmy became the assistant of the general coordinator for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro before serving at French-based Lagardere Sports as director of the operations for Africa from August 2016.

Fahmy comes from a family who all served as the CAF Secretary General with his grandfather Mourad Fahmy serving from 1961 to 1982 followed by his father Mustapha Fahmy who was encharge from 1982 to 2010.

Shortly before he was ousted from his role with Caf, he had surgery for a brain tumour.

He spent his time after his dismissal between Cairo and Paris, where he had been receiving further treatment.

He leaves behind a wife and three-month-old daughter.

Fahmy was not just an administrator but a huge football fan - having been a founder member himself, of what is today the largest fan group of Egypt's record-breaking football giants Al Ahly.
