After a standout year, XYDE returns to his home label, Phase Records DNB, with the electrifying ‘RATZ!’ EP. Since the release of his ‘Hourglass’ EP early last year, he has been on an unstoppable roll, delivering fire tracks on powerhouse labels such as Tres-2b, Innerground, and Grid Recordings. It’s safe to say he’s been keeping busy.

Beyond his impressive run of releases, Vasco has also taken on a pivotal role within Phase as part of the A&R team. While staying true to his roots, he continues to push the envelope, playing a key part in shaping the label’s sound. At the same time, he has further developed the heavier, tech-driven style of Skatimal, which has become his signature. ‘RATZ!’ EP is a testament to XYDE’s relentless drive and sonic vision—an undeniable statement of intent, packed with raw power and everything that defines his music.

The EP opens with the title track, a brutal fusion of jump-up and roller influences, layered with dark, atmospheric soundscapes and menacing energy.
