Kenogo, a very beautiful young lady, raised in a very conservative and traditional society breaks customs when she publicly initiates a romantic relationship with a man. This shocks everyone that was around. But as it turns out, the young man had also been watching her from a distance and had been afraid to approach her. And now that the earth has been broken, Kenogo and her man start a relationship. The song is sung in the tone of that man years later, reminiscing of how he and his wife Kenogo met in a small kafunda in western Uganda called Omukashansha. It was written and performed by Allan Watson Waswa in 2020. Allan Watson Waswa has also performed the song at the Uganda National Theatre and Sofar Kampala

Allan's struggles in life as he falls to nothing, tries to get up and keeps stumbling and falling but has to keep on amidst the pain, hunger and follows a ray of hope. He finally gets up but he is so weary and then all the hope he had drains through him, but he is standing. I guess we will see if he got something else to cheer him up.

Allan's Song

Allan Watson Waswa is a Ugandan violinist and actor. He is also a member of The Tabs UG band. His first album In My Dreams was published in October 2020. The collection is a mix of his nostalgic childhood memories and the challenges in his adult life, all the while exploring the sounds of his native western Uganda.
