Another terribly important mix to me, this comes second only to Only Deep.  It's yet another demonstration of how special the late 90s and early 2000s were for house.

In 2002 I wrote:

"80 minute deep house mix originally recorded for lars behrenroth's deeper shades of house radio show, broadcasted on germany's JAM FM 07.20.02. a bit of post-production fun found its way into this mix. what originally started out as quite well rounded, the mood took hold and i realized how many smooth jams needed to be immortalized. hence this is probably one of the deepest mixes up on the site to date."

A DJ Mix of Older House Records That I Have Always Loved

Hi, I'm Alland and I like making and collecting music. I was born and raised in LA, moved to SF in 2003 where my friends and I hosted a big, fancy, well-known techno party at a legendary club called The Endup.

After seven wild years in the Bay I moved to Berlin and some fun stuff happened. Got an album out on Third Ear Recordings, some singles and EPs on Room With A View, Dirt Crew, Poker Flat, Rawax, Housewax and some other nice labels. Had a couple residencies in clubs and radio stations. A couple of my best mates and I started a band project called KAMM, and together we released two albums. The first came out on Marcel Vogel's fine Intimate Friends label, and the sophomore LP on France's legendary Circus Company. See? Fun stuff happened!

These days I spend most of my time in my nice little home studio, I'm the Art Director at Beatport, have my own indie label called Full Bleed Sound, I buy synths I can't afford and I'd most likely like to pet your dog.
