Hot on the heels of a high octane Jazz-fueled broken beat bruk beast, Full Bleed guy Alland Byallo returns with a rare reflection of his recently retired ravey recordings. Deep, droney but delightfully dulcet, "Ascender" is an epic, driving cut that's matchless for magical mornings. Chunky West Coast-vibe percussion and a fat Moog bass line lay down strong substrate for effervescent xylophones and chimes, sinewy 303 lines and soaring leads. One for the heads and headnodders, no doubt.

Hi, I'm Alland and I like making and collecting music. I was born and raised in LA, moved to SF in 2003 where my friends and I hosted a big, fancy, well-known techno party at a legendary club called The Endup.

After seven wild years in the Bay I moved to Berlin and some fun stuff happened. Got an album out on Third Ear Recordings, some singles and EPs on Room With A View, Dirt Crew, Poker Flat, Rawax, Housewax and some other nice labels. Had a couple residencies in clubs and radio stations. A couple of my best mates and I started a band project called KAMM, and together we released two albums. The first came out on Marcel Vogel's fine Intimate Friends label, and the sophomore LP on France's legendary Circus Company. See? Fun stuff happened!

These days I spend most of my time in my nice little home studio, I'm the Art Director at Beatport, have my own indie label called Full Bleed Sound, I buy synths I can't afford and I'd most likely like to pet your dog.
