Big EDM is a Music Label and Sound-Design company that was established in 2015 by Roman Trachta – the founder of another well-known sound-designing company W. A. Production. This label is following in W. A.'s footsteps, and is only creating and releasing the most current and mammoth sounds, samples, loops, construction kits, and much more for thousands of producers who want to add fresh ideas to their production. Big EDM will provide their products to all genres including electro, progressive, deep, tropical, future, dubstep, trap and many more.

Gareth has been part of the music scene in Newcastle for over a decade, as an event organiser, a promoter, a DJ or just a clubber. It was this love of music and people interaction that gave the initial push to invest in a pair of Technics 1210s and learn to DJ, inspired by weekly visits to Promise at Newcastle to see the very best DJs from across the world. Gigs soon followed but a yearning to edit tracks, or to add to a track what he believed was needed to improve it always sat at the back of his mind.
He then started learning music production soon after that but it was never something he really dedicated himself to, and he concentrated on his DJ ambitions. This didn’t last long and with the rise of Digital music which became cheaper and more accessible to everyone, he felt producing was a better way to stand out from the crowd. Gareth then invested in the necessary tools and threw himself into the studio, and with many hours learning, dedication and determination, began to craft his sound.
Labels like Aria Knights and Digitized Recordings saw this and it was long before he was topping the charts with tracks like ‘Hell Raiser’ and ‘Checkmate’, which have been supported by every major DJ in the scene, including ASOT, VONYC Sessions, FSOE , Extrema, Tytanium Sessions and many more. His collaboration with Darren Porter 'The Tesla Effect' was a major hit in the summer of 2012 and was picked by John O'Callaghan for his Subculture Selection on Armada. The follow up to that track, ‘First Contact’, is again tipped for huge success, and has already been supported by a host of names on shows and live performances. His latest track ‘Exotherm’ features on the latest Aria Digital Recordings Miami compilation CD, and is due for release this summer.
With the current support for his work now worldwide, it is no surprise that Gareth has recently returned from his first international gig, headlining in Firenze, Italy, and also recently played in London. Confirmed bookings for the rest of the year in the UK and Europe have seen Gareth now signed to Eclipse Artist Management who will be dealing with his Asia/Pacific/Australia bookings, and Synergy Artist Management who will deal with his UK and Europe bookings.
With many more tracks, collaborations and remixes lined up, plus continued support from his peers, the future is very bright for him indeed.
