what children eat, drink, and breathe.

Who has the energy gets to state 
yes or no to a people-friendly climate.

Who has the energy makes the statement, 
whether there's democracy in government.

Who has the energy are whom we adore 
and we make this country of, by, and for.

My music doesn't come out of San Francisco. It doesn't come out of Detroit. It doesn't come out of the Mississippi Delta. I'd be proud if it did but it's not trying to be that.
