On March 9, seven communities in the Comarca Andina began to burn. Due to the intensity of the fires, hundreds of people and animals were affected. More than 500 families lost their homes as a consequence of the six fire outbreaks in the south of Argentina, in the provinces of Chubut and Río Negro.

Grito Del Sur arises as a collective artistic proposal, integrated by musical producers, photographers and digital artists whose mission is to help the families and natural areas affected in Patagonia Argentina.

All proceeds will go to the funds of the NGO "Bioreconstruimos", a group of volunteer bio-builders (contractors, architects, builders and other professionals) who work tirelessly and ad honorem to rebuild quickly and help families to recover their homes.

"Heart's Journey" is a live recording, a sonic interpretation of the heart's constant yet ever-changing rhythm as it moves through the universe. This piece was captured in a single take, embracing the spontaneity of a live performance. After the recording, only some compressor and EQ were added in Ableton to fine-tune the sound.

The track heavily features my Eurorack system, with the core sounds built around Mutable Instruments Plaits for melodies and Make Noise XPO providing the bass, often shaped by a low-pass gate. You'll also hear textures from the Teenage Engineering OP-1 Field, which I use to gather unique atmospheric sounds. The Mutable Instruments Beads granular effect adds intricate, shimmering details throughout the piece.

Other modules from the Eurorack system that contribute to the sound are Make Noise Morphagene, Make Noise Maths, Make Noise DXG, and Make Noise QPAS. For effects, I utilized FX AID XL, and the signal routing was managed with the Erica Synths Matrix Mixer and AI018 Eurorack Stereo Matrix Mixer. Further sequence explorations come from Noise Engineering Mimetic Digitales, Qu-Bit Bloom, and sound FX from Qu-Bit Data Bender. Disting EX works as a matrix mixer and Disting mk4 as a compressor. Master-FX are performed live with Oxi Meta. 

The entire performance was mixed and recorded through the Tascam Model 12 and exported as one stereo master sum. Additional equipment like the Roland TR-8S, Endorphines Golden Master, Hologram Chroma Console, and Arturia Microfreak were also available in the setup, contributing to the overall sonic palette of the live session.

This track is an unedited snapshot of a moment, reflecting the organic and evolving nature of live electronic music.

Each year the events continue to spread out across the world. From Los Angeles to London. Melbourne to Moscow, Berlin to Beirut to Brazil and back to their spiritual home base of New York City. They continue to flourish due, in part, to a core ideal. To create something truly magical.
