Cross-cultural sounds and influences are the calling cards of the Erdi Irmak protfolio. Born in the hubbub of cosmopolitan Istanbul where Asia meets Europe across the vast Bosphorous River, Irmak's rise to the higher echelons of the musical elite is as rapid as it is impressive.

Thoroughly immersed in the sounds of his Turkish homeland from an early age, a combination of "chilled out west and far east sounds" became the fundamental tenets of a musical ideology that has brought success across a wide spectrum of labels and genres. Proficient in deep, tech and progressive house, a further foray into electronica has seen the development of a prolific talent.

“This Ain’t Forever” took nearly as long to create.  

Quarantine life has been a tremendous shift for us all. 

The persistent nag of uncertainty has become the drumbeat of our current existence. 

I’ve gotten through it with the help of way too much day job, a TON of great mixes on Soundcloud and a bunch of shenanigan fueled Zooms with my wife and friends.

Along the way, I picked up a Pioneer XDJ-RX2 all-in-one unit that’s given me the ability to mix live at the apartment for the first time in at least half a decade.

What I hope you’ll hear is a heady exploration of energy and wistfulness that I think represents the way in which I’m doing my best to look at our future together.

The world is healing.  It’s up to us to follow its lead.

This Ain't Forever

Our 'Good Morning from ...' Guest Mix series will explore different artists from all around the world as they take us on a journey with their distinct and unique sounds that they'll showcase to represent their taste, surroundings and upbringing.

After not revisiting Lahore for quite some time in our Series, we’re back in Pakistan for our latest story in our journey around the World.

Whilst experiencing the wide diversity and array of culture, the city of Lahore casts a magical spell on a person, and simultaneously widens your tastes and perspective of the World around you.. and that’s exactly what our latest Guest Mix Artist has done in his story. 

In a tribute to the city he grew up in, Haider Uppal has crafted a story sprinkled with pure love and energy, you can almost smell the scent of a sunrise underground party in the middle of the city during his mix. And this is not his only tribute to his surroundings.. his EP titled ‘Lahore’, will be released on @dreamcultureofficial later this Summer alongside long time collaborator Saqib, listen carefully and you’ll find it in this guest mix. We will be working very closely with Haider in the future also, but more news on that soon.

Take in the morning’s sounds, smells and sights of this beautiful city, that perfectly match up with Haider’s story… Good Morning from Lahore

All Day I Dream explores beautiful, emotional and melancholic shades of House and Techno through its label's releases, events and artists.

All Day I Dream events began on a Brooklyn rooftop back in 2011 and have since become an international sensation. Around the world, crowds continue to be drawn to the experience and to become a part of it's community. Spurred on by the music of Lee Burridge and his unique roster of artists, each brings his or her own emotive musical vision to the daytime party. Sounds that are all too rare in the current electronic music scene.

Each year the events continue to spread out across the world. From Los Angeles to London. Melbourne to Moscow, Berlin to Beirut to Brazil and back to their spiritual home base of New York City. They continue to flourish due, in part, to a core ideal. To create something truly magical. The passion to create magic manifests itself  both in those organizing as well as those attending the events.  

All Day I Dream also continually forges it's own unique ambience through a combination of the musical journeys taken by it's listeners as well as noteworthy venue choices. Each location transformed with the event's bespoke production design. Structural art, hanging gardens, colourful fabrics, fairy lights and lanterns. All melded together to fashion an unparalleled, irresitable atmosphere.
