With most DJ’s barely getting their teeth in to 2014 yet, Rotterdam based composer and producer Eelke Kleijn is already back teasing more huge tracks. Set for release on Feb. 24 on Eskimo Recordings are two brand new originals. ‘Lovely Sweet Divine’ is a slice of space disco heaven. This otherworldly tune is drenched in expansive reverb, disco rhythms and infectious arpeggiated basslines.

Typically brooding with an uplifting inflection, 'A Tale Of Two Lovers' is Eelke at the top of his game – only what we have come to expect from recent months. Combining fluid violins, hang drums and his typical bass rumble it’s a track from someone so adept at production they have the confidence and freedom to play around with styles in the 7-minute runtime.

A highlight from the iTunes #1 compilation ‘Anjunadeep 07’, Ryan Davis’ melancholic beauty ‘Brun’ gets reworked by two leading lights of the European underground, Luca Bacchetti and Matthias Meyer. Over the past decade Ryan Davis has carved out his own niche, with a unique brand of melodic techno, attracting wide-spread support from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, Jonas Rathsman, Stephan Bodzin and Max Cooper. 

Following releases on Crosstown Rebels, Saved and Ovum over the past few years, along with a string of stand-out remixes, Italian producer Luca Bacchetti offers up a signature rework, intertwining an subtle groove with delicate cinematic chords that compliment the spacey sentiments of the original.

Hamburg influencer and Watergate resident Matthias Meyer takes the stage for the second remix, debuted in James Grant’s recent Deep House Amsterdam mix. Meyer offers a textured roller, infusing classic house elements that resonate beautifully alongside the original’s cosmic soundscapes; an uplifting and emotive dancefloor moment.

Ryan Davis - Brun (Luca Bacchetti Endless Remix)

A gifted musician in possession of an array of talents, Luc Angenehm has caused quite a stir within the underground dance fraternity. With a growing collection of outstanding original material to his name, the "Kaiserkraft" EP for Proton Music broke new and exciting ground. Already receiving a quartet of remixes across two EPs for the label, a third, this time for Particles, once again extends Angenehm's work.

San Francisco based, Mark Slee, is a name well-known across the bay area and beyond. Passionate about his work as DJ and producer, Slee has been heavily involved in the music industry since co-founding the House-Heads collective in 2008. In tandem with regular gigs across San Francisco, appearances at "Burning Man" and to international acclaim in South Africa and Mexico, Mark's "Heron Sound" show for Proton Radio has also showcased his talent as taste-making DJ. As a producer, Mark Slee has been a firm favourite on Jondi and Spesh's Looq Records, with additional work finding its way on to the catalogues of Submarine Vibes, Cityfox and Lucky Sun. Furthermore, the formation of his co-owned Manjumasi imprint, with Atish, has proved an enormous success with a roster that includes Nico Stojan, Brian Cid and MUUI.

A trio of high-profile remixes for Proton Music have been combined with a single rework of Vitamindevo for Particles as Mark Slee now returns to the label with a typically polished affair. An elegantly crafted, deep percussive groove holds sway with sumptuous bass line variation, as melodic elements from Angenehm's original are juxtaposed against the hypnotic rhythmic patterns. A wealth of original production is in full evidence as stuttered motifs keep interest high in a work of skill and poise.

On Australia's south-eastern coast, Nick Retz has hit a rich vein of form through his Retza production moniker. Responsible for the "Rework Podcast", Retza's DJ skills have seen his diary increasingly filled, driven by inspiring performances at the likes of "Rainbow Serpent Festival", "CHI WOW WAH" and on the international arena, while Rework itself "is a collective of DJs and producers that came together…to push techno and house on the dance floors of Melbourne's underbelly." 

As a producer, a growing portfolio of material has found its way onto the likes of Lo-Fi 45, All Day I Dream and Watergate Records, supported by the underground DJ elite that includes, Kasey Taylor, YokoO and fellow countryman, Jamie Stevens. Now making his Particles debut, the Retza remix of "Kaiserkraft" lives fully up to its "Day Dream" title. A rich, low-slung groove drifts across a near nine-minute voyage that revels in dream-like melodies and pads that bleed into each other in unhurried fashion. Ever-evolving, a canopy of sound in the mid to upper frequencies gently covers the hypnotic rhythms below, creating a post-breakdown third movement that cleverly revisits Luc Angenehm's original elements in inspiring fashion to create an ethereal and opulent offering.

Remixes from Mark Slee and Retza still find Luc Angenehm very much the master of "Kaiserkraft".

Ukrainian producer Lessovsky makes his debut on Plaisirs Sonores Records by delivering a top quality deep emotional track. On remix duty, Zone+, who already released on great labels like All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep and Tale & Tone, lightens the track by removing some shakers and presenting a more classic deep house version of the track. Last but not least label bosses Hicky & Kalo put their proggy touch on New Ritual by creating a groovy and driving version of the track.

All Day I Dream events began on a Brooklyn rooftop back in 2011 and have since become an international sensation. Around the world, crowds continue to be drawn to the experience and to become a part of it's community. Spurred on by the music of Lee Burridge and his unique roster of artists, each brings his or her own emotive musical vision to the daytime party. Sounds that are all too rare in the current electronic music scene.

Each year the events continue to spread out across the world. From Los Angeles to London. Melbourne to Moscow, Berlin to Beirut to Brazil and back to their spiritual home base of New York City. They continue to flourish due, in part, to a core ideal. To create something truly magical. The passion to create magic manifests itself  both in those organizing as well as those attending the events.  

All Day I Dream also continually forges it's own unique ambience through a combination of the musical journeys taken by it's listeners as well as noteworthy venue choices. Each location transformed with the event's bespoke production design. Structural art, hanging gardens, colourful fabrics, fairy lights and lanterns.
