Roy returns (triumphantly) to our lovely little label. And what a return it is. The reactions to both „Rumbala“ and „Megakraft“ have been immense. Just try to keep your dance floors hands down. Well, we must admit it is more a single hand in the air after the break kind of deal (think Italians at parties in Ibiza) but a hand none the less. Seriously though, these tunes are going to be heard all summer long. On the flip side of the mp3 are two more wistful house music lullaby's. My love for electronic music started mainly in the 80s. At that time, bands like New Order (Joy Devision) or Depeche Mode came up and different music styles such as punk and rock became more electronic. At the beginning of the time I heard things like Kraftwerk, Front 242, Clan of Xymos, EBM, ACID House... .

I remember very clearly, at that time I was 15 years old. I drifted all alone in an inflatable boat on a large lake in Norway. I had a huge cassette recorder from Hitachi and an old cassette from my father. There was only one song playing for hours, "Fade to Grey" by Visage. while I enjoyed the original lake panorama and dreamed of the big wide world (cyrcle alla 80th).

The great love for electronic music has never left me. I took part in the big RAVE time and was always at events until the last few years. Lately, I like to listen to Deep in different forms. 

I am hearing the music on the speakers of Canton, A45 Audio Edition and a correspondingly fine drawing amplifier.

But the real speakers that reveal the great secret of analog electronic music are from the end of the 80s, the Canton CT 800 or, for the smaller room, the Canton Karat 200, both three-way systems with the sound characteristics of the time. Together with a timely relative, a high-priced amplifier (class A or AA) from the companies Kenwood or Technics, the sounds will then be separated and displayed again in the original characteristics.

You'll be surprised how well current Deep will sound on these music systems.

All Day I Dream events began on a Brooklyn rooftop back in 2011 and have since become an international sensation. Around the world, crowds continue to be drawn to the experience and to become a part of it's community. Spurred on by the music of Lee Burridge and his unique roster of artists, each brings his or her own emotive musical vision to the daytime party. Sounds that are all too rare in the current electronic music scene.

Each year the events continue to spread out across the world. From Los Angeles to London. Melbourne to Moscow, Berlin to Beirut to Brazil and back to their spiritual home base of New York City. They continue to flourish due, in part, to a core ideal. To create something truly magical. The passion to create magic manifests itself  both in those organizing as well as those attending the events.  

All Day I Dream also continually forges it's own unique ambience through a combination of the musical journeys taken by it's listeners as well as noteworthy venue choices. Each location transformed with the event's bespoke production design. Structural art, hanging gardens, colourful fabrics, fairy lights and lanterns. All melded together to fashion an unparalleled, irresitable atmosphere.
