Middle Eastern flavours are served up via ARTN's sonic delicacy. Russian duo Volen Sentir return to Anjunadeep for their first single release on the label, ‘Mimoraya’.

The duo made their Anjunadeep debut back in 2020 with two lush mixes of Ben Böhmer & Malou’s ‘Lost In Mind’, which collectively gained over 3m streams, and have since gone on to release on Lost & Found, All Day I Dream and Shanti Moscow Radio, amongst others.

Volen Sentir provides two mixes for the single, both utilising traditional Russian vocals. In the original mix, Volen Sentir combine a driving rhythm section with a groovy baseline whereas the alternative mix features deep textures and delicate counter melodies. The duo’s latest showcases their versatile productions that have gained them support from the likes of Eelke Kleijn, Sasha and Sébastien Léger.

The two tracks featured here were conjured up (in a daydream we like to believe) in time to play out at all the Summer All Day I Dream closing events in the USA, on Be@TV's coverage at the BPM festival and on our South American tour. 'Antrim’s Or Two Strangers begins the new year by welcoming Analog Jungs back to the label for a new EP. 2019 saw the Cordoba duo deliver their well received ‘Universe / Particle’ EP for the label, while also showcasing their music on Balkan Connection, Beat Boutique, Droid9 and Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden. Alsoa favourite of progressive house tastemaker Hernan Cattaneo, Analog Jungs now return to their comfortable of Or Two Strangers with ‘Liria’ alongside a remix from Kamilo Sanclemente& Mauro Aguirre.

Beginning with the title track ‘Liria’ Analog Jungs explore the deeper spectrum of progressive minded house. Its warm, full bodied groove is perfectly sculpted, flowing through emotive chord changes while finely tuned percussion and joyous arps add a buoyant flair. Rising atmospheres elevate mood as the main break commences, with creamy tones adding to the melodic narrative. Eventually melting down to an iridescent glow of colour and texture, the near two minute centrepiece might be the most impassioned moment of Analog Jungs career. Sure to capture the heart of your dance floor before perfectly shifting energy into a driving finale. The companion piece ‘Ocean’ continues the warm, inviting ethos of the EP with a robust, rolling groove, lively rhythms and waves of fiery percussion. Mysterious yet musical, it’s timely shades and tones create stirring moments, before giving way to clustered melodic concepts leading into the break. Expansive once again, the interlude is a story within the story, cinematic and heartwarming in equal measure, building subtly as waves of drums converge for an exhilarating apex and massive drop.

The lone interpretation of ‘Liria’ is provided by Kamilo Sanclemente& Mauro Aguirre. The Colombian duo provided progressive music fans with memorable moments in the second half of 2019, with releases on Nick Warren’s Hope Recordings and Proton Music, while also contributing to Clubsonica’s ‘MMW Sampler’ in 2018. Now coming together for the first time in 2020, Kamilo and Mauro round out the release with a stunning interpretation of ‘Liria’. Tough and driving, the groove commands a large presence as melodic fragments and astral effects adorn the framework. Evolving with a veteran’s savvy, timely drops and tasteful modulation provide a rising wave of tension, as piercing stabs continue to push momentum forward. Spanning almost three minutes in length the main break is a journey into redolent melodies, haunting atmospheres and ghostly wails, all perfectly intertwined and setting the stage for a euphoric finale. An inspired remix from the Kamilo and Mauro which rounds out a welcome return to Or Two Strangers for Analog Jungs, a duo who continue to operate at a creative peak.'

Jiminy Hop has the honor to remix the track and he does this is his own way. All Day I Dream events began on a Brooklyn rooftop back in 2011 and have since become an international sensation. Around the world, crowds continue to be drawn to the experience and to become a part of it's community. Spurred on by the music of Lee Burridge and his unique roster of artists, each brings his or her own emotive musical vision to the daytime party. Sounds that are all too rare in the current electronic music scene.

Each year the events continue to spread out across the world. From Los Angeles to London. Melbourne to Moscow, Berlin to Beirut to Brazil and back to their spiritual home base of New York City. They continue to flourish due, in part, to a core ideal. To create something truly magical. The passion to create magic manifests itself  both in those organizing as well as those attending the events.  

All Day I Dream also continually forges it's own unique ambience through a combination of the musical journeys taken by it's listeners as well as noteworthy venue choices.
