Release twenty-seven on Manjumasi comes from veteran producer Padre, aka Pete Lazonby. Baby Steps and Grand Gestures showcases five diverse tracks of deeply evocative music. Originally released on vinyl as a tight two-sided concept, the digital package now feature additional remixes from Powel and Floyd Lavine.

The Baby Steps open with the crystalline innocence of Jacob's Divine and conclude with the smooth primordial bubblings of Origin of Species. Padre's lucid style is revealed most of all in his collaborations with visionary vocalist and lyricist Oe. The voice is mixed loud and clear, in a more pop than underground way, underlining how unusually well it all fits together.

The Grand Gestures begin with the harnessed dark energy of Feed Your Eye. Sensuous chills and thrills continue with Thousand Fingers , and Last Dance completes the narrative in some romantic sci-fi ballroom. This collection is spirit led and formula free.

A debut appearance on Particles in May 2017, Javier Misa & Damian Araujo now reprise their collaborative partnership. Presenting us with their "Memories"; remixes from South America complete the picture.

An artist with a rich musical heritage, DJ and producer, Javier Misa has been a regular across the clubs and festivals of Montevideo and his Uruguay homeland. Mastering his craft for two decades, live performances have electrified audiences across South America. In tandem, a production career that has seen his work allied to such heavyweight imprints as Flow Vinyl, Baroque and GR8 AL Music, has found Misa in much demand across the underground dance music fraternity. Joining forces with fellow countryman, Damian Araujo, their joint collaborative debut saw "Emociones Sinteticas" sparkle on Particles as they now reprise their relationship with the enigmatic, "Memories". A swathe of swirling pads envelops the listener as a hypnotic, grooved riff provides dancefloor joy. Building dramatically with sustained chords in the second and third movements, the track builds to a rousing crescendo while the heavy kick and house driven percussion that provides the rhythmic anchor, keeps melodic elements in check.

Colombian duo, Kamilo Sanclemente & Juan Pablo Torrez, have both forged impressive music careers in their solo ventures. With 200 credits to his name, Sanclemente continues to rise to the upper echelons of the underground dance scene with a recent high watermark found on the solo "Revelations" EP for Particles in August 2017. Similarly, Juan Pablo Torrez sits atop the summit of the Colombian dance scene with his live performances across the country, while a century of production credits for the likes of Clubsonica, Superordinate Music and Electronic Tree are testament to an impressive production career. The Sanclemente & Torrez partnership saw "Arisen" flourish on Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital in January 2016 and now reprising their collaboration, the Kamilo Sanclemente & Juan Pablo Torrez remix takes "Memories" on a journey of bouncing bass groove and thumping beat while a ticking percussive cadence provides rhythmic foundation. Using, Misa & Araujo's original components to full effect, a pulsating chorus of pads and melodic tension creates a remix of strong dancefloor intensity.

David Calo is another South American artist whose career continues to rise impressively. A DJ and promoter of global renown, Calo's performance alongside such stars as Guy Mantzur and Wehbba, have enraptured audiences across his Buenos Aries hometown and beyond. A production career that has blossomed in tandem, has seen Calo's production work hit the catalogues of Sudbeat, Hope and Crossfade Sounds. The recent "Chronomatic" EP on Proton Music is a notable highlight in the Argentinean's career and a trio of remixes for Particles is now complemented by a fourth. Taking on "Memories", the aptly named "David Calo Deep Interpretation" finds its foundations in a thumping kick and subterranean bass line that fills the lower frequencies in menacing fashion, resonating with Misa & Araujo's original. A gamut of stereo-panned percussion fills the left-right spectrum in dizzying fashion as Calo provides a unique and mesmerising rework.

Our next release is an important milestone. This is the 10th release so we have a reason to celebrate a bit.
In today’s oversaturated market it is really challenging to build a label from scratch. We want to say a big thank you to all the great artists who are behind ZENEBONA RECORDS and of course also to you, and all to our fans. It wouldn’t be possible without you.

We are proudly announcing 'Alright, Come Close EP' which is also a message to all the talented producers out there to come and get in touch with us.
This is the debut of the Highway Records label boss and it is an absolute pleasure for us to have him. Mike Spirit is a unique guy in the scene, a musical pioneer with a charming personality. Mike doesn't want to be part of the herd, his sound is always unique. Both original tracks are super fine house tunes with some tricky sounds. Hard to put them in a category, but outstanding productions indeed.

The other big thing is that we are welcoming on board Soulfeed with an amazing, smooth deep melodic remix. Behind the curtains are Elad and Oren, two experienced guys from Israel who really knew what we needed here. Elad is also the label boss of Take Away Music.

The third remix is from Peter Makto who opened this label as a love project, to keep his passion for the deeper sounds alive. The usual groovy, ass shaking remix that he is well known for.

So here you have the spirits of Highway Records, Take Away Music & Truesounds Music all together on Zenebona Records. That’s why we love the music scene so much, because if we stick with the spirit of this simple rule: music is our connection – we can always do amazing things!
